How to put on a replacemnt grip?

How to i put on a replacement grip. It's not an overgrip. I heard i have to put a staple in it is that true. I tried you tube but no replacemnt grip videos.

Pry old staple out with screwdriver, install with hammer.

I put it on just like an overgrip. No staple necessary.

Use the staple start if you hold the butt inside your palm.
Don't need to if you barely touch your buttcap.

The stuff is so sticky I don't use a staple. If you mess up the first time, you can simply redo it.

Ditto. The TW instructions make it look intimidating. Took a crack at it and it's no big deal. The grips I've used are super sticky.
