this is a tough one.
PST - good spin, pop, serve, but felt a bit hollow at times and not as maneuverable as the prestige pro
YTPP - good at everything, but not great at anything. pretty stable but feels a bit powerless and dead, really dense pattern for 16x19, not good spin production but very predictable stringbed.
if i absolutely had to choose, i think i'd go w/ the prestige pro here just based on feel. you might want to give the aero storm tour a shot. it's a bit more maneuverable than the PST and feels more solid w/ more spin.

For me, the pst won out on feel and stability and groundstrokes and volleys. Pp won on the serves. The prestige pro wasn't enough to wow me, while the PST prompted a switch.
The prestige was also much more whippy. But I adjusted to the PST just fine and love it now. The rally ball it hits is absolutely insane, and volleys are rock solid.

The Pst is much better in stock form. You will have to play with lead to get the pp playing as solid as a stock pst.
These are exactly the frames I am deciding on. I really liked the YTPP on serve and volleys. However, I didn't like the head gripshape when playing from the baseline. The PSTGT (old one) was nice on grounstrokes and especially my backhand. I didn't like it that much on serve and the squeeky buttcap was annoying. I am wondering if the new PSTGT still has that problem.

New pstsgt did not have the squeeky buttcap and is still average on serve. I need a big serving stick so I went with the donnay, but the pstgt is one of my favorite sticks I have ever owned and prefer it over the prestige pro.

Just change to the TK82S pallets and you are good to go. With the right setup the PP is a much better frame IMO, but you need to take a full swing to really enjoy what the PP has to offer.
Hmm, you make changing a pallet/handle on a frame sound easy. Read some thread where someone described how it is done. I don't think I can do it and I don't have the right tools to do it.

Just get the pallet on TW Eutope, cut it to handle length, get doubled sided tape and apply to handle, and then place pallet to handle and staple butt cap/wrap new grip. Thats all. Yeah I have seen that video. Too much trouble if you ask me and I don't have the proper tools for it. Also, I am not confident the result would feel als solid as a stock pallet/frame

I have played with both and own 2 YTPPs. I agree that for ground strokes the PST is a very nice stick and probably more solid then the YTPP but the YTPP is so versatile and once setup with weights to your liking, it is a superior all around weapon IMO. I would also check out the Pure Storm Tour LTD GT if you haven't already, that stick is buttery as well.

its so easy, takes me less than 5 mins. Only tools I use is a steak knife and a staple gun. Every pallet is applied the same way so it wont feel different at all.Yeah I have seen that video.
