Wimps of the world, unite!

Yes, my strung frame weighs 11 ounces with a leather grip. I'm proud as punch (thank you Hubert H. Humprhey) to weild it and win with it. And yes, it's 100 square inches, size does matter!

I've never started a club but felt it incumbent to let the tennis world know that it's OK to play with a frame that's not weighted to 500 grams with an 80 square inch head size.

Head Youtek Extreme MP only 10.9 oz but feel really heavy

DunlopAero500 feels 10.2 oz and balanced with a normal grip, but choking down to the butt, feels more like head heavy 11 oz on the swing and contact.

Recently I've been having a torrid time with my KPS 88; I wonder whether Sir Rabbit has been right all along when he expounds the benefits of a light tweener frame? Looks like I might have to resurrect my LM Radical from the cupboard soon.....

Glad to hear you are still enjoying the Tour Team. I continue to find something else I like about the lighter setup. I 've really been able to move the serve around as the summer has progressed and my touch shots have never been better, not in thirty years better.

While we haven't all landed on the same frame, as I survey my group, I notice most are playing an 11oz racquet or lighter. Babalot GT's most frequently.

We as a group have been healthier (knock on wood) than in previous seasons with the lighter racquets. No shoulder or elbow issues.

My arm has never felt better and I'm using poly in the mains albeit lux Ace and strung at 48.

On the flip side, my game is making nice progress with this frame.

Ahhhh Rabbit.. all is not what it seems. In your case.. you may be using an 11.0 oz frame, but the swingweight way up there @ 334 and close to even balance. . I am guessing you still have nice plowthur.

I play Tecnifibre 315 speedflex and MG Radical mp both stock.

I have other heavy racquets. I always come back to the above racquets.

My frames probably 'feel' more maneuverable than yours... but anyhoot.... am sure many will join your club.... I also enjoy a stock kblade or RadMid+ for doubles matches.

Im currently using a Babolat AP Lite. Total weight is 10.55oz including over grip, dampener and the Babolat head tape protector with Gosen OG Micro 17s installed at 55lbs. So far so good...

You, as usual, are correct. The plow on these racquets is more than I need. The flex is very comfy, the control is great, and the power level matches my game. All that....in an 11 ounce package. The wonders of modern science continue to impress!

I'm really in this club...

Unmodified O3 Hybrid Hornet MP, 10.1 oz unstrung. Sampras style dampener and white overgrip wrap.

Finally broke out of the 3.5 ranks last year with this beauty into the 4.0's. Looking to get 4.5 eventually, just need to play more.

I know this thing isn't a sexy beast for the likes of this board, but frankly Scarlets, I don't give a damn.

I have no problem with people leading up a PS 85 to 14 oz. to imitate Pete circa 1996, but justifying their childish hero-worship by saying only 1.5 players use less than 13.5 oz frames is just rationalization.
My signature setup weighs in at 10.8 oz, so I'm in.
