I thought it might be you because first off, you are very knowledgable. Second, "Rabbit" is another nickname of the rapper.

thanks!

No problem. We are two separate and distinct people. For some history, ydahs mils changed his log in to his real name when he thought he had become a "player" in the stringing world. IMO, he changed his login to gain credibility or whatever. I guess it is hard for anyone to take you too seriously with shadly slim backwards.

Rabbit, do you feel the C10 or the 300T has more pop and which is easier(bigger sweetspot, more forgiving etc..) to use? Thanks.

Rabbit...appreciate your insight on this racquet.

It's on my short list of possible demos but have never found an 18x20 racquet I could play with consistently...now I think it's a mental thing.

Anyway...glad you posted your opinions on this racquet.

Man....you're asking the tough ones...

OK, I think the 300T has more pop, but not a lot more. It is definetly a control oriented frame.

The C10 is a user friendly frame, but has its downsides as it is definetly an old school frame; i.e. weight. The reason I began looking around was playing senior sectionals last year in Mobile. It was about as hot as it can get and I just plain wore down. I also noticed the other players gear. With one exception, the 4.5 teams at sectionals were made up of teach pros (another thread) and they used more "modern" gear with lighter weights. Their games didn't seem to suffer and I decided that I should step down my racquet weight and see what happened. Ergo the move to the AG100. The 300T is a little lighter than the 100 and closer to an end state frame for me. It also hits as nice. I demoed the 300T and the folks I hit with commented on how well I was hitting with it. That got inside my head enough to consider moving to it.

IMO, the 300T is an old man's C10. It is more maneuverable, sacrificing a little plow through, but you are able to swing it faster and get more racquet head speed which makes up for this. I like the Dunlop at net better, but that may be because I'm playing with natural gut versus poly in the Volkl.

I have definetly gotten used to the Dunlop flex and prefer its slightly firmer feel now. It is really an arm friendly frame. Both, however, are great frames.

Thanks! I have responded. LOL

First, glad to see you posting again.

I have never cared for a dense string pattern. That said, the 300T is a different animal. It actually plays more "open" than other 18X20's. Spin is not hard to get BUT you do have more control. I actually found hard, tight slices came off this frame easier than with the 100 or C10! Topspin is another issue, but I think with some time this will come around. Control and comfort are the two biggest pluses with this frame along with a little extra pop compared to the C10. I'm not sure it is more powerful than the AG100, but it is easier to swing and more maneuverable.

^nice review. The 100 is a very nice stick as well. I'm still trying to decide, but all my cohorts say I hit a heavier ball with the 300T.
