Sepidoel, Have you tried the AG100, or the 4D100? If so, could you compare your impressions of either with the Bio 100? Also, Johnnymacfan (as am I, by the way), can I ask you where you heard the Bio100 is going to be available in the States next month?... do you think TW will have it then? Thanks, Jack

MMMMMMMM....licking my chops on this new Bio 100 that I hear is coming out later this month. Anybody seen/heard/hit it?
Do you mean in the U.S. or somewhere else in the world because AFAIK, it's been out in Europe since the beginning of this year.

I have heard from a reliable source that the 100 (in a new color - not the green that is available in Europe now) will be coming to the States later this month. I would assume TW would have it...I think I can get a photo of it, but I don't know how to load photos on the message board....:(

Let's just hope it'll be heavier than the 4D 100 - it felt so insubstantial and light for what is supposed to be a players' frame. And I hope they don't change the 63 flex rating - such a comfortable feel.

I'm sorry, Jack, this is my very first 100. From what I heard from another thread Bio100 wasn't different much with 4D100, with slightly improved stability.

The weight and flex rating are identical.

It won't be heavier than the 4D...But that's one of the great things about the 100 IMO. They keep them on the lighter side (11.7oz stock strung) so that you can work your magic weighting/balancing them up to the way you want them.

I know they've had the green one in Europe, but there's a new color (same racquet) that's supposed to hit stores later this month. I have heard that they're going to be very limited quantities made available though, so hopefully I can get a few before they're gone....:S

That doesn't really make any sense. Why would they change the color for the U.S. when they haven't done that with any of the other models?

Yeah that's a good question but I can only assume that they made the change because the Biomimetic 100 in green was never released here, so it wasn't as big a deal to change the color...I did love that green color though!

I have shipped and purchased overseas with no problems.

But why would they bother with the extra expense of changing the color and have to manufacture and stock a different color just for the U.S. market? I just don't believe it until I see it. Also, the Bio 200 was also not released in the U.S. until much later and they didn't change the color when they did.

Ok...I know you are skeptical, but when you see it, I'll do my best not to tell you I told you so.

No problem Sepidoel. Thanks for your response. I've been happily using my 2 AG100s for over a year now. I recently demoed, and liked, the 4D100. I almost bought one. It seemed to have a bit more 'plow through' and stability than the AG100, but ultimately I prefer what I experience as the slightly greater feel and maneuverability of the AG100. I also thought to hold out for a demo of the Bio100 when TW gets them ( soon, I hope!). Cheers, Jack

OK, I know this had been addressed on other threads, but I am interested in the 100! Looks like johnnymacfan was right about the PJ. I think i actually prefer the Euro Green version, but this looks ok i guess: http://dunlopbuzz.com/pageview/viewpage/tappinn_pageid/36287
Yes, but I hope he's wrong about the "very limited quantities."
