Agreed. I do have Nike socks, but I like the half cushion, just the right amount of thickness and comfort.

+1. I never wear my Elites, the half cushion breathe much better and offer just as much padding where needed. Though my favorite are the Delpo cotton tennis socks, I have about 15 pairs of those.

I have to say I used to think socks are just stuff u put between your feet and shoes, but I've really grown to appreciate good socks. I havent given the elite much of a try and have already found my preference of the PE socks at the US Open. played a couple matches in them and the diff between these and thorlos or nike drifits are like night and day.
Yep, they've been discussing them for pages and days. I must admit when I was in the juniors, socks were my thing, so perhaps these are kids discussing these, but if they're adults, seriously.

Yes! Sorry the lighting in the room was not very good. Also this PAC275 is starting to annoy me now. PAC200 was working just fine.

Now the color codes don't necessarily match. University Red Premier WB PAC 275 is color code 610. University Red Bandana is color code 657 (i know they are the same color, they look exactly the same and there was only one red bandana and wristband available at the open.) Same goes for obsidian WB and Bandana.

No I think Nike is doing this because they running out of color codes. Also for note, Obsidian bandana is 451 (obsidian is always 451), but PAC 275 it is 416. Last year all of the color codes matched up when it was still pac 200. Also on your note about quality, they are exactly the same as pac 200, same construction, same composition, etc.

Blue wristbands US Open 2012
Hey guys,
I read some posts saying that the blue premier wristbands which were sold at the US Open the past two weeks were "Blue Glow". I really doubt about that. I think they are "Cobalt Blue" (in regard of the matching bandana 411317-455).
Has someone more information about that?

I also have the wristbands at home but I am a bit confused since the matching bandana is Cobalt Blue (as some other stuff from the Nike Fall line) whereas the blue Nadal's T-shirt, as weel as the Shirt that Berdych wore at Cinci, is Blue Glow. Therefore I don't really know the color of the wristbands.

That's the post I was referring to in my first post.
But I am quite sure this is not Blue Glow however.
There is no Blue Glow bandana sold whereas there is a University Red bandana (as the wristbands), a Volt one (as the wrists) and a Obsidian one (as the wristbands too). Therefore the blue wristbands should be Cobalt Blue.
But I may be wrong.

Really good point. You must be right.
Indeed I have put together the blue wristbands from this year with the blue glow/sonic yellow ones from last year (and for these ones we are sure they are blue glow) and they are not exactly the same blue. So this is probably a cobalt blue this year and not the glow blue as we firstly thought.

First of all PAC200-408 is not Neptune Blue but Treasure Blue.
Then, I have never said that all the 408 codes are the same color.
And finally, I just doubt the PAC275-408 is really a blue glow.
Why would Nike release University Red bandana (411317-657) and wristbands (PAC275-610), Obsidian bandana (411317-451) and wristbands (PAC275-416), Volt bandana (411317-710) and wristbands (PAC275-713), but a Cobalt Blue bandana (411317-455) and Blue Glow wristbands (PAC275-408 ). It doesn't make sense.
But as I said, I may be wrong too.

PAC200-408 is Treasure blue. I did not look up my list haha.
I have a complete list of PAC 275 color codes which came from NIKE.
PAC275-408 is Blue glow with white swoosh.
the reason is very simple. the product number 411317 is for retail version so color code should be different. I don't have complete color code lists for 411317 though.
There is several reasons.
1. Nike no longer makes promotional bandana which is PACxxx
or we just don't know new PACxxx bandana product number yet.
2. Nike might give PACxxx bandana to only their sponsored players.
previous PACxxx bandana and PAC200 wristbands matched the color code.
If nike made PACXXX bandana, it will match with PAC 275 color codes.

Don't misunderstand me Kim. You're totally right while saying that the previous bandana PAC183 and the previous wristbands PAC200 had the same color codes.
I am just surprised that Nike released the university red, the obsidian and the volt combo wristbands + bandana for this US Open but 2 different kinds of blue for the wristbands and the bandana. But if you have a list from Nike, then there is nothing more to discuss: it's Blue Glow
