if you could design a tennis shoe just for you . How would you make it

- types of material
- would you model it on anything e.g. B7 or V9.
- what colours
- durability guarentee

Just would like to see everyones opinions ...

A Vapor 9 with a new high-tech lightweight, more durable outsole that doesn't alter the current weight of the shoe. (Vapor 9 - bad outsole + good outsole = good shoe for me)

My perfect shoe would be a Vapor 9 (with the look of a CB 2.3) and the outsole and durability of a Barricade 7.

Nike Free Run 3 look, weight, and comfort with durability and stability of B7s.

OTOH I wouldn't mind shoes with a flying squirrel skin upper, with natural aeroskin, D3O laces, plutonium air max bubble, cortex insole, aerogel tongue, and the paint job of a 25th anniversary prestige. :lol:

Already have the perfect shoes.
Babolat SFX! Perfect shoe for someone with wide feet like me, most comfortable shoes out there and awesome durability. If you're not too picky about weight etc you'll love them too.

My perfect shoe would be much more lightweight than anything put out today. I'd say I'd prefer something under 10 oz in a size 12. The lightest shoes I know of now are about 12oz in a size 10.

Also, it should have good durability in the outsole with a lightweight toe guard. The shoe should have a flat midsole so that it ultimately has zero drop, which means that the heel is no more raised than the forefoot. The upper should be sort of like the Vapor 9, in that it allows a lot of adjustment in lacing.

Lastly, and others wouldn't necessarily like this, the toe box has to have sufficient width for my wide toe-box spread. Perhaps the company could make the shoe in a variety of widths and last shapes for each size, as I think they must do for some of the pros.
