Roger (and seriously, that name don't help) doesn't seem to provoke any sexual lust from females, instead he gets a lot of 'motherly' sort of affection from women in their 50's who wish their sons were as successful, well-behaved, gentlemanly and well turned-out as him.

I think straight women probably like Federer because they think he's a nice guy they can have him though he's not as sexually attractive appealing as Nadal. Federer isn't that masculine either this is a guy who cries when he loses grand slam finals. I know for a fact in the gay male community most gay guys prefer Nadal and Djokovic over Federer. Federer is kind of soft and effeminate.

I wish the female version of the "guys only" thread for posting hot photos and gushing wasn't always buried somewhere. I'm not ashamed to admit a factor in my tennis fandom is appreciating the men on my screen for more than their tennis. I'm not nearly as attracted to Roger as I am Djokovic and Nadal...you know that date, ****, or marry game? Roger would get the marry for me. He seems like the kind of guy you settle down with not the kind of guy you have a little mindless *fun* with.

He does look older than 31 and does look closer to 40 imo. Tennis players on average do not age well because of all of the sun exposure.

You think so? I have no clue about estimating ages. I have seen 30 year olds who look much younger than Roger and some that look much older than him. I'll take your word for it

For me I find him much more masculine-looking than Nadal: stronger features, broader shoulders, more body hair, deeper voice. Nadal is kinda "pretty" in a feminine way for me which prevents him from being sexy. Obviously there are people who see this in a totally different way.
As for Fed's "effeminate side" sure it's there; but there's also the an aggressive bad-ass side which you sometimes see on court.
Fed's capable of projecting wildly different emotional states, which makes him complicated and therefore IMO sexy.

As I've said before, I think Federer could pass for early 40s. He's really aged his skin with all the tanning. Sometime in either 2007 or 2008, he became obsessed with tanning, and I'm not sure why. Maybe he was getting sunburns regularly or something, or was sick of applying sun screen.
As for whether or not women find him attractive...do women find any guys attractive? They lie so much about everything there's no way of knowing whether they're saying what they think they want, or what they actually want. They always have to pretend to be noble and deep and non-superficial.
The fact that there seems to be such a wide range of what women claim to find "attractive" suggests that they're talking out their ass when they discuss men's looks.

Eh, Roger cleans up nice and looks sharp and handsome in a suit, but he's just ok. The thing with Roger and Rafa is neither of them seem to have one ounce of humor in them. Sorry, but they come across as pretty dull people personality wise. So give me Nole, Murray, Tsonga, Tipsy any day.

all tennis players age badly with all the hours they spend in the sun. Of course, having more melanin in the skin assuages some of that but even Rafa, when he smiles, you see all manner of lines in the face. When djoker smiles you can see all kinds of crows feet lines around his eyes.
