Biphase 17 vs Biphase 16??

How does the performance and playability compare between these strings?

I've been playing with the 17 gauge but would like the string to last longer.

Thinner gauge:
-More power;
-More spin;
-More comfort;
-Less durability;
-Less tension maintenance;
-Less precision.
To quickly sum up.

Given how powerful X1-Biphase is, and the fact that it's a multi, maybe sticking with the 16 gauge will do better for the playability.

I use 16g for my crosses with a hybrid, that's for longevity. if I was going full bed, I'd go 17 for bite.

Prestreched Biphase 16 is one darn good string. Might be worth a shot before trying something else.

I like the 17 gauge as it gives more power at a low tension.
A lower tension with this string makes the string not move.

What tension level? I had been stringing my prince racket at 62 with the 17 gauge, but now moving to the APD.

I would go for 16g at 2~3 lb lower than with 17g. 17g breaks too fast (less than 8 hour with Wilson BLX PS 90 at 55lb).
