The rise of Novak Djokovic is unreal

3lite

Ah I see 3lite is back as soon as Nole gets just a little bit back on Nadal. No problems with Nadal running roughshod over everyone tho.
This is the one issue I really have zero tolerance on is certain fans pointing fingers at Noles PED use.
I know for certain a huge portion of Noles improvement has been by natural means. Gluten issues are real. I know I have them full on. Mercury poisoning damaged my body causing huge food allergies to occur. Gluten, wheat, dairy, msg, yeast, etc...all wreck my body and my stamina. The allergies are not as pronounced now as my body has healed considerably.
Now I am sure the players are all using various "supplements". I have good friends that work for one of the biggest "ped" and sports supplement companies in the USO. I can get what ever I want including HGH and EPO if I wanted it bad enough. So it is not and issue of access. It is not a taboo subject in the professional ranks.
Also there are supplements that are LEGAL that provide similar effects as HGH. So players can take stuff where they do not have to go to the "hard" stuff....
So you should really focus on your fav player whoever that might be.
Thanks! :)

Why are you mentioning PEDs? I did not mention PEDs at all. I'm talking about his confidence and mentality. He hasn't been the same since 2012 FO.

FreeBird,
Rejuvenation! On a cycle of HGH! LOL JK!
Well the FedForce is declining and now the NadForce is taking over.
We must be vigilant! Stand your ground Brethren! Stand your ground....
Nadal will inflict pain and draw blood. We might waver but we must not fall!

The bumping of this thread is kinda funny given what Nadal has just achieved after a long layoff.

Surprise much? since Roland Garros, the BAMOS! brigade have been cut loose.

Even clarky is calling me a troll, it's that bad.

Clarky? The black magic obsessed jinxing troll that goes around jinxing Nadal's opponents in every thread?

Maybe Clarky should start posting that Nadal is the biggest doper to jinx the possibility of him getting caught doping?

Read his book. He says the #1 thing that made him go from good to great was changing his diet.

He always had the talent. but his new diet gave him incredible endurance, speed, flexibility.

also, his diet eliminated "mind fog," so he can now focus more in matches.

so basically, improved fitness and mental toughness made Djokovic go from good to great.

obviously there's a lot of other factors.

remember, when he was just considered good and not great, he was only around 23 years old. that's pretty young. so over time, he matured, got more dedicated, and improved with practice.

His improvements wasn't magic or steroids. he worked hard and changed his diet

After that, he proceeded to get dusted in the Olympics, old man Roger at Wimbledon, and a clearly inferior player in Murray at the US Open.

Well, that may be clear to you. It's anything but clear to the rest of us!

There was nothing odd or unnatural about Djokovic's loss at that US open anymore than there was at this year's US Open. In both cases he got outplayed by the player who was clearly better.

FYI also, there's nothing odd or unnatural about Murray beating Djokovic. He has been beating him quite regularly since 2008 including in Djokovic's golden 2011 year!

Unreal.. Surreal, NOT POSSIBLE whatever.

I don't believe someone can go from damn near quitting all his matches to miraculously doing what Nole has done these past two years by just switching to gluten free. Sorry. Thats BULL!!!

He goes from not being able to finish matches to rarely getting tired and being year round consistent with deep runs ever where he goes in just the span or almost a few months from late 2010-2011 and present?

Theres an old saying, "If it seems too good to be true it probably is".

Nadal has always been a freak of nature (I don't know if its man made or not) but I raise my eyebrows more at guys like Nole who made these types of ridiculous changes to his stamina, physical game etc. almost OVERNIGHT

Exactly. Cvac turned his entire stamina and endurance around in one month, right smack in the middle of his career. He never showed he had that kind of physical ability not even one time throughout his entire career before 2011. It's very obvious what's going on with him.

Even before 2011, Clay Death? I don't think so.

I will be honest with you.

I watched him play when he was 19. the man could move like the wind.

now he has only taken that movement to the next level.

I hear he stretches like crazy and even does yoga and stuff.

the guy is an athlete for sure.

Djokovic didn't dope. Did Federer dope during 2004 after losing early at the the AO, French and US Open in 2003? Because if you want to play it that way, he "came out of nowhere" too.

Dopers usually do well for just one tournament before getting caught. See: Korda, Puerta.

he makes borg look slow.

nole makes johan kriek look slow and kriek was a world class sprinter.

I'm not talking about his flexibility; I am talking about his stamina and endurance, neither of which he was known for having in spades up until 2011. Now he is able to outlast everyone on tour, when before he was wilting in the heat and sucking wind like a fish out of water. No way on earth did he acquire his new found physicality naturally, and no one will ever convince me he isn't doped up to his bugged out eye balls.

relax clarky. tennis is not an endurance sport.

you need endurance but its not like cycling or triathlon.

you need more tennis specific fitness but you don't need an endurance of an elite tour de france cyclist.

Pretty much all tour de france cyclists dope, so that's maybe not the best example.

At the physical level Nadal and Djkovic play, with matches that can last between 4-5 hours with 50+ shot rallies....it's an endurance sport at that level.

That's why younger players and teenagers are no longer breaking through. They are not training for tennis like it's an endurance sport, when at the top level, that's exactly what's it's become.

Tennis players going forward are going to have to dedicate themselves to fitness and endurance, and not just think having a technically sound game will get them to the top.

Tennis is a hardcore sport these days, not a country club affair

The same poster opened basically the same the thread yesterday, and after his junk and nonsense was deleted he resurrected exactly the same ridiculous year old thread

The tool obviously has an agenda and it is not an accident the comes up with this junk now after Djokovic destroyed Nadal.

Of course regular Nadal trolls (Clarky and Co), being butthurt after yesterday's humiliation jumped immediately and started trshing Djokovic.

It is really sad to see how low can Nadal fans sink here.

One exception is DM who is a nice and decent poster. Thank you.

average joe lunchbox pro is simply not as fit as the guys like nole, nadal, roger, and murray.

you have to understand that at least 3 of these 4 will go down in history as the greatest to have played the game.

so they are damn near superhuman to begin with.

don't compare them to the clowns on the tour.

still it is not considered an endurance sport by sports medicine experts.

And the doping does not make the athlete it is just a tool in the toolbox. Djokovic is a natural talent and the best mover on the tour. They do take "supplements" for the healing process. The type of supplements I can only guess. These men grind and blow away any and all generations before.

Yes he did. He never showed he had endless stamina at all before 2011. He was a wheezing, slumped over, gasping for breath weakling before then. I cannot recall one instance of him showing that he had endurance like he has now. If it were natural in any way, I think he would have shown he could hang long before 2011.

Also, do you remember how he ended 2010? The same way he always did, which was the fish out of water he always was. That is, until a whopping month later where he shows up an indefatigable beast. There is no way I buy his gluten-free story, or any of the quackery he follows as the reason for that. I believe the reason is entirely pharmaceutical, and hopefully he gets busted for cheating sooner rather than later.

That's because you need to give him a hyperbolic chamber to sleep in.
And GMO free foods.
And glucose free diet.
And warm water to drink before a match (NOT cold water).
Duh.
Without this, how do you expect him to succeed?

http://www.greenmedinfo.com/page/da...ves-celiac-disease-wheat-intolerance-sayer-ji

Do you know that our ancestors housed the gene for celiac disease. If they ate the GMO'd mega gluten swill from the depleted and polutted soils they would not live for long.
Once food became basically gut pack we were done. We eat this silage basically becuase it is all we had to fill our stomaches. Strip mined the planet so no super proteins and nutrients are left in the life cycle. We dont even recycle our composts back into the system.
Ecologically and physically humans are f*cked.

He is most likely doping. Nadal and Federer probably are, also. Muster probably did as well at his peak.

I think a lot of top guys were doing it. Namely for recovery because the tour is such a grind. I mean, Korda was busted. Pete also dodged Olympics. My real guess was that his trainers were telling him to avoid it because doping control was being stepped up over time.

Sports are dirty.

My suspect list

Muster
Djokovic
Nadal
Federer - Never breaks a sweat.
Sampras - Probably steroids for recovery.
Rios
Borg - Cocaine boosted on his bad days.
Hewitt
Korda
Agassi - After 1998 I'm suspicious.

Rios was qouted as saying the ATP wouldn't bust Agassi becaus he is too popular. Yet, Rios was another guy who seemingly came out of nowhere and started challenging for the speed and movement title.

In other news, Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell test positive for a stimulant. I wonder if Bolt will go down also? For him, I think it is a matter of when, not if.

LOL!

Firstly, you might want to either get your eyes checked out, adjust your prescription, or invest in something with better visual definition and fidelity than whatever junk television set you're using since Federer "does" sweat.

Secondly, all performance enhancing drugs that I am familiar with would cause one to sweat "more" profusely, not "less", unless of course you can enlighten me about the sort of PED that would cause one to either "not sweat at all" as you contend or sweat extremely minimally -- and the only drugs I am aware of that would even remotely come close are the "opposite" of "performance enhancing" for anything related to physical activity.

I knew folks in my workplace softball league that started sweating like pigs the minute they stepped on the field. This was a company freaking league, where teams were more challenged to get enough women so that they didn't forfeit. No PEDS, yet obscene amounts of sweating from healthy folks.

Excessive Sweating is not caused solely by PEDS, that's simply not true.

FYI, Fed sweated like a pig during his Los this year, as did all the other players that day. It was the most humid day of the tournament.

You misunderstood me or perhaps I didn't state it clearly enough. My point was that the phenomenon of sweating in and of itself is not a characteristic of using PEDs, however "relative" to an individuals autonomic system and metabolic rate, utilizing PEDs can result in higher degree of sweating for that particular individual. So unless, you're that person's physician, it's impossible accuse someone of using PEDs just because they appear to sweat a lot. If that were the case Roddick would be the most egregious culprit.

As far as too much sweating (Hyperhidrosis) and abscence of sweat (Anhidrosis) is concerned, both are rather harmful health conditions, which would automatically make it impossible for a person to even remotely be capable of any sort of strenuous physical activity.
