Bennett looks like a bust. 6'9 guy who just camps at the 3 point line (and misses them). Was not a fan of that pick and it likely won't pan out.

Seems the BUILT (Pacers) Team is pulling away from the Bought (Heat; at a discount in LBJ's case) Team. Perhaps it is too early to tell but usually when a team plays that good they usually end up doing great the next 3-4 years (last year was Year One for Indy and coincidentally the fourth year for the Heat).

It's November for God's sake. Indy good start but Miami's still the champ. They don't care about the regular season but will be there when it matters.

I'd say the team that is most dangerous no one is talking about is the Minnesota Timberwolves... This team has some nice pieces-- and can put up POINTS (not just the 47 point outburst in the 1st quarter against the Lakers tonight. They've been putting up big numbers all year) I'd like to see the defense improve some, but if this team gets hot they can beat anyone in the league.

How a big man working out with the Dream isn't improving his game is beyond me.Kobe and LeBron added a whole new dimension to their respective game just by working out with the Dream over the summers. And they're mostly perimeter players!

Which is why he doesn't shoot much. He dishes the ball much more often, making his teammates look better.
As a Wolves fan, there is a lot to be excited about this year if the Wolves can stay healthy, which was their undoing last year.

Everyone has figured out how to defend him now. I have not watched the fox enough but I would seriously be asking for Asik to get 20 mins a night at C with Dwight riding pine on nights when he struggles.
Watching Vucivic here is a pleasure compared to Dwight when it comes to post play. Dwight is the best defender in the league down low, but Vuc has such solid footwork, touch and an overall game. We stole this guy from Philly.

golden state looks so much bettery with iggy. they were fun to watch before but if shots weren't falling - they were done. with iggy it looks like they can do a lot more.

I think the NBA's crackdown on flopping isn't working. I think it's time to start yanking floppers from the game instead of just fining them.

The past 3 seasons, Wade and Bosh's presence are cumulative to LBJ's success, however, at this point with Wade's physical troubles, LBJ taking over might be enough already imo! Heck, he'll most probably return to Cleveland and rack up some more championships with Irving (while in his youthful prime). Or get lured by L.A. to continue that championship pedigree.
Rose would never be the next MJ post injury; just look at other tiny injuries popping up here and there.
Building around Rondo? Please, Rondo ain't Isaiah Thomas (ok, he isn't a celtic but you get the drift...), full stop!
I like the chances of Iggy with the Warriors! In fact, any team (where's that Divac, Webber & Williams flashy games--nevermind championships!) in Ca I'd support except Kobe returning back being Kobe, at his age? He'll probably do great some games but dominate? I think not. Mind might be willing but will his body?
However, unless Kobe reverts back to # 8 and discard # 24 (trying to do one better than MJ's 23!), he may never win another title.
D. Williams, as good as he is, his sprains here and there are getting so much more consistent, not a good sign.
TD (in my book the PF GOAT) as much as I love the guy and the team's work ethic, I think they'll be in another ''so close yet so far away'' scenario but they are here to stay for sure, until the wheels fall off.

The part that p!sses ME off is that a bunch of NBA fans (mostly children) seem to forget how game-changing a healthy, in-rhythm Derrick Rose is/was. The guy had the ball-handling skills of a Chris Paul, the freakish athleticism of a Dwyane Wade, the clutch factor of a LeBron or KD...
You read the current Twitter feed and realize these kids are so ignorant and insensitive with such a short attention span, and it makes me want to throw up. People were actually debating whether to take Michael Beasley or D-Rose at one point. And for a while, the choice seemed like Carmelo-Darko all over again. One of the most emotional moments I can remember is when Rose won his first MVP. A person with exceptional God-given ability on the court and grace and humility off of it.
