When you play 4-hour matches and hit the ball as hard as Nadal they do take longer, however...

I've had it a few times. IIRC, took 3-5 days to heal. If I'm desperate I pierce it and burn the spot with fire. It works. But I don't think most people are crazy enough to try that.

people on here have actually had a blister and how long did it take to heal.ive had plenty and they dont take long.

Nadal has been training today without the tape. So as I've said since a couple of days ago, I believe it'll be a non-issue.

The Spanish Tennis Federation doctor (Dr. Cotorro) and a physiotherapist flew to Melbourne, and they brought with them a revolutionary machine that can heal wounds and blisters over twice as fast using radiofrequencies which accelerate cell regeneration and healing.

Now they are saying he should be able to play the semi without even using tape.

the same Dr. Cotorro who often works with the nadal and who's a licensed physician for completion of doping control ?

I also heard Pat McEnroe on ESPN, right after they showed Nadal practicing without tape, that there is no way Nadal is walking in to court with tape for the match. He said he had seen the blister and it's bad.

I don't understand. The blister is bad, but he won't wear any tape?

Weird place. Tough to keep tape there. Near a moving part of the palm near a fold. Will need some product.

Affected the serve in the match with the RF tribute band kid from bulgaria. Bloody blister will be fine in a few hours....For a few hours. He will play like a hungry animal. He will fight like a brave. He will get at least two sets off Even the best version of roger. Maybe three.

To heal completely - maybe a week.
To heal "enough to play" - 4-5 days.

I'm still surprised how Nadal got so many blisters on his hand, when I play tennis often the skin area on my hand is so hard that it's impossible to get blisters.
