Actually, the net is black string. Try to find something similar?
I have used black zip ties to close a cut (the entire height of the net has been cut) in a net. But string would look much better.
I've had to repair a couple of local nets which were sagging from the tape. The tape is a strap folded over the cable. The black net is held between the halves of the tape and stitched in. The stitching seems prone to failure and the net sags away/below the tape. I've used white/nearly clear zip ties and a hole punch to lift and retain the net in approximately the same position as original. I punch holes in the tape intermittently at the same level as the previous stitches. I hold the net up between the halves of the tape, thread the zip tie through the hole & net, and loosely secure the zip tie over the top. After I've done all the zip ties, I go back and snug each up while ensuring they're level, rotate the head near the punched hole, and snip off the excess. It ends up nearly invisible from playing distance.
