choose oneLooks like the FO is between Fed, Djokovic and Nadal
You say his serves are unreturnable. Yet, he hasn't won anything of significance...I watched Opelka's match in the Estoril Open yesterday. His serves are unreturnable even on clay. With Nadal on the decline and Federer lacking match practice and Djokovic having personal issues, Opelka is the favorite for RG.

You guys are clueless. All Opelka has to do is serve. Wins are automatic.
Thiem will win RG maybe this year. He is surely more favorite than Federer at this point IMO.Looks like the FO is between Fed, Djokovic and Nadal
Opelka is doomed, but why do you waste an already wasted player.
You can do much better, no?
For example, what do you think of the Nadal's chances to win Roland Garros?

Why so??Well, I guess his career's over before it even started...
Why so??
He has a big serve and if he can obtain even Isner level Ground game, he'll be able to do pretty well
Wow! Nadal a strong favourite now. The curse has been lifted!

srshs, as the 10th anniversary of TRS pre-SF prediction that the guy with the elegant strokes would not win, is grasping at straws for more and more off-the-wall predictions.
What are you talking about??Are you serious? You don't know?

Are you serious? You don't know?
What are you talking about??
And yes, I'm serious about my opinion on opelka's career
I just don't like it. I mean I would understand if it's fan of Ferrer or Berdych, so they believe in 1st GS trophy, but making those lame words for multiple Slam winners over and over again although they won more than enough... it is beyond pathetic.jok16ing
opelkation day?... i'm inHe'll beat Nadal round 1 like Isner could not.
Got it hitman..I would suggest you start by searching for The REAL Slam thread made by the OP and take it from there.
LOL how does a 7 foot guy get bageled in the third by Monfils?
But he will use this as a learning experience to win at RG, mark my words.
it's just an issue of inertia. a tall guy is heavier, longer limbed, can't change direction the way a lighter guy can. so the huge serve bots are never going to be the dominant body type.I watched Opelka's match in the Estoril Open yesterday. You don't mention the positives, like big serve and longer reach.
Right. But big serve and reach don't compensate for movement. See it time and time again. Raonic Isner Karlovic. All-time servers but can't hang with the great movers and break into the elite. Wingspan can also be a negative, easier to get jammed to the body. You don't mention the positives, like big serve and longer reach.
