It's incredible how well Thiem has played this week. If he can play this well on hard courts all year, especially at slams he will be a challenger for the #1 rank next year.

I guess. Idk just doesn’t excite me for some reason. I guess it’s just deflating to not have any of the big 3 there and it would be more exciting to me to have the 2 supposed “future stars” battle it out in Zverev and tsitsipas

The big 3 aren't going to be around forever so better get used to this. Zverev has not been as good as Thiem this year so I'm glad we get this match.

He's made big strides this year though so I have to hand it to him, although I think Tsitsipas has been a tad better this week. He almost has gone 4-0 so far and barely lost to Nadal in a match where he had nothing to lose.

It's not random. He has made many subtle changes to his game, especially his return game and court positioning. It's here to stay. Thiem era is about to begin, get ready for it!

Dominic has learned how to win ugly.

Not the greatest match by him but very clutch in important moments.

Now he's into his first final of this event. Hopefully he'll take the title tomorrow but to do it he'll need to up his game.
