I agree with this mostly..

but I have yet to hear an actual reason for the fact that the somehow constantly injured Nadal has only missed the French Open once and is basically always healthy for clay season? Only 15-16 are exceptions.

Thanks for at least conceding AO 14. Many around here have a difficult time with that one.
Seriously. What other "big losses" does he have in this context?

The whole argument for Nadal around here has been injuries keeping him out of tournaments. Unless you're referring to retirements like Australia 11 or 18 as "big losses."

If Federer didn't have Mono then AO08, W08 and AO09 would all be Federer's

Novak would be on 19 slams and Nadal on 18

However Novak at least deserves his 20 because he himself missed USO20 which was his morally.

Nadal has no excuses, he has always faked his injuries, he was never really injured as he made it seem, yes he suffered wear and tear and since 11 he had been slowing down, but that is not the same as being injured throughout the year, those are silly excuses

Not necessarily undefeated but so many of his big losses were due to injury. Unlike Federer and Djokovic who just straight up lose.
Such a funny trump card, this, lol. I guess my equivalent would be the fact that Nole gets more credit for grinding out close nail-biters compared to Fed 'straight up winning.' It's a shame there's no 'overkill' bonus like in Final Fantasy X.

Nadal had a wrist injury when he was on a tear before the Fo16, wimbledon 09 he would've been joint favourite with fed, wimbledon 07 knee slip at end of 4th set, nadal, ao14 self explanatory, 2018 us open however it'd be tough against djoker to win that year and missing us open 2020 where he had a great chance as defending champion and just look at his fo2020 performance for reference and form factor. Possibly Usopen 2021 but Medvedev/zverev would be hard to stop.

Perhaps I am too skeptical of Nadal injury claims but let’s explore a few of these with some questions. In 5th set of 2007 Wim final, did Nadal look injured to you or the tv commentators when he had 4 break point opportunities at the early part of the set? In AO 2014 final, before Nadal called for a medical timeout down a set and a break, did Nadal look injured to Stan, you, or the tv commentators? If Wim or Us Open were played on red clay, do you think Nadal would have withdrawn from the 2009 Wim and 2021 Wim and Us? Thanks.

Every loss this year

Soderling

AO 2010 (likely CYGS without injury)

Should I continue?

Round 4 a big loss? Quarter-finals a big loss?

Because in that case Roger & Novak both have their fair share of losses due to injuries they played through. But I don't consider Berdych at 2010 or 2017 Wimbledon big losses for either of them for example.

you have to balance Nadal's "injury" losses with ones he was very lucky to win like AO09 and W08 where Fed had bad back and loss of practice blocks due to mono, respectively. So it evens out in the end.

Since the 2010 AO QF was brought up, did you or the tv commentators think that Nadal was injured during the first two sets that Murray won?

People here know that Nadal beat Djokovic 28 times? Bageled him in a slam final? Leads the slam h2h?
Because that gif thing makes it look like Djokovic never lost to him.
Which would be most misleading.

Sorry anything pre-2011 doesn’t count since that was “baby” Joker. Also nothing in 2012-2014 counts since Joker had issues mentally. And finally nothing in 2017-2018 counts because Joker was burnt out 8-B
