    What? When do you stop playing outdoors, below 70? Geez, I'm in upstate NY and girls HS tennis players pla deep into October and down into the 50's...it's called light fleece and long pants..fall ball is beautiful!

    more because the weather for the boston area predicts off and on rain for the next 2-3 weeks, and most of the public outdoor courts in my area don't cover in the rain and take even more time to dry out lol. I'm not playing on slick hardcourts or mud haha

    On one hand, I want to express sympathy for you. On the other, I feel like no one has a right to peaceful enjoyment of the internet. If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen. People complaining about "trolls" and "abuse" and "disrespect" on the internet, always strike me as the "safe space" types.

    exactly, my bud is helping me, and he plays all the time with his fiance so he's in shape, I played a lot in high school and for fun on college...last 5 yrs...nope..lol

    Well at least you had fun. I guess you played too defensively. I do that a lot when I'm nervous.

    Way to defensive, I hit a few errors early on and I guess I let that get to me, plus the guy had about 6 inches on me so I didn't really handle his reach advantage well. It was fun, he's my boy so I'm hoping next time I'll do better lol

    He's got about 6 inches on me height wise, so his reach is better. I've seen him serve when he plays with his fiance, and it's good, where mine was never my strongest asset. It'll be interesting, I haven't played a real competitive set in a long time so we'll see. I'm looking forward to it

    playing my first tennis match against a friend in about 5 years...this will probably be an epic disaster...but i love him he won't rub it in
