Voted Thiem, but it has been quite fun watching Nole's game this AO as well, so I'm fine if he wins.

Federer and Del Potro

Either winner is good.

If Novak wins Fedfans will become extra entertaining on TTW.

If Thiem wins 90s Gen is finally slam-worthy.

Either works.
Not all Federer fans hate Djokovic.

I’d like for Fed to finish with the most but would be more than okay with Djokovic passing him.

He’s the best I’ve ever personally watched in my opinion so from my perspective it feels normal (started watching in 2008).

My 2 cents

This may very well be the first GS final I’ve ever watched live where I won’t root for either player. Though it may change half way through the match depending on what will happen on court.

Why not? Because he beat your guy?
Did you watch the match? Nadal should’ve won in 3 sets, but every time the important moments came Thiem was net-cording every damn shot. I don’t know to whom you must sell your soul to be THAT lucky, but this match made me f’ing sick.

I'd love to see Djokovic lift the trophy. Will I be sad if Thiem takes it? Yes. Will I hope for something to happen to Thiem so he can't? No.

I just want to see a good match in a few hours. :)

Doesn’t matter who wins .

Thiem has had a tougher path while Djokovic has had a dwarf , a mug and a crippled player as opponent the last 3 rounds .

I want Thiem to win, but only because he's the underdog and it would be a great breakthrough. Not really thinking about the slam race at all tbh. It's not worth seeing every big match through that lens anymore. I'd root for Thiem if Djoker had 10 slams and was no threat to any slam related records.

As a Rafa fan i would prefer Thiem only because it means he is less a threat at French Open. He is not doubling up no chance as so many players have dipped after a 1st Major and with Thiem less of a threat it clears Nadals path to no.20 as djokovic no longer as strong on clay. He is better on grass now.

A thiem loss makes him more dangerous in Paris.

Nadal bias aside, i like both Thiem and djokovic so can live with either winning. I knew Nadal was not winning a Major on greenset when he has never won a title on it before so my happiness was Federer not winning. Again, i like Federer but i felt if he got to 21 he would have probably ensured he ahs slam record.

As usual when its all over its a real downer. NFL finishes as well so after tomorrow nothing to look forward to for 6 weeks. Worse time of year.

Seems lke a strong majority want Thiem to be victorious.

Now granted, he's the Clown Prince.

But then - his opponent is Novak Djokovic.

So all I can say is....I hope it's Thiem time.

Thiem is one of my favorite players on tour, and he's finally busting up the Big 3 and breaking through. I'd love to see him win RG and become #1 this year.

But no thanks today. Me wants me some #8.

The right thing should be a 26 year old to beat the 32 year but given the mug gen it is a huge ask.

Let us see if Thiem can step up. If he shows he can beat Nadal and Djoker in same event, he will earn my full respect.

Did Cilic earn your respect two years ago after losing to someone over 36?

Fed fan here. Rooting for Thiem but OK either way. I'm waking up at 3:30am to watch so I'm just hoping for an exciting match.

Not sure I agree.

A loss for Thiem could send him spiralling downwards, especially if he has a poor defence of his IW title too.

I reckon if he wins the AO, his confidence is going to be sky high. And that's a dangerous thing for the other guys going towards the FO.

It's actually quite incredible that these polls are as close as they are

It's basically Novak fans vs. Fed fans + Nadal fans + Thiem fans + Novak haters

I want Djokovic to win. I like Thiem but i just don't feel like his game deserves a slam just yet and i want Novak to catch up to Federer because quite frankly he's a better player than Nadal and it's wrong that Nadal is close to the slam lead considering he's a one-surface specialist. Generally the result won't matter massively to me but Djokovic winning is the best result for me.

It would be amazing to have someone in their 20s beat both Rafa and Djokovic on their way to a slam. I don't remember how old Stan was in 14, probably was in his late 20s.
