17/18 Gauge String AWA Cross String Recommendation?

After taking my LM Radical MP out the other night (T-7 string was getting ready to break) I've decided to throw a 17g or 18g string in the the HLMRMP as my mains to see what kind of spin potential I can get out of this thing.

I typically use 1.25mm Luxilon mains with 1.30 Yonex crosses in my T-7.

Can anyone recommend a 17g or 18g polyester string that offers great feel and good power?

I hit heavy topspin so they may break quickly but with the tight string pattern I'm hoping for as much durability as I get in my T-7 with the 1.25mm Luxilon.

If I go with a 17g/18g main, should I reduce the width of the cross string I use as well? If so, see my other post concerning a thin, soft, cross string under $10.

Great Feel--Kirschbaum PLI 1.15 or CF 1.20. (Keep the cross at least 1.25 to maintain durability.)

Great power--not possible (unless you start lowering tensions).

Thanks...I think I'm going to try one with Pro Hurricane 18g/Yonex Tour Super 850 and the other with Luxilon Ace 18/Tec. MultiFeel (?).

try the Lux Ace 18g mains and perhaps the new Lux M2 for crosses, both thinner gauges and loaded with power and control.
