Novak was just playing decent tennis at the AO, it was in no way his best tennis ..... Murray atleast has had 2 wins vs djoker since 2011, nadal has none ....

Thanks for the laughter ;)

And? Nadal's ahead in both the major count and the H2H.

Just tuning in on this thread..

Been watching the match, but is it me or is it a pretty boring match..?

Once again, Novak takes the initiative with an out-of-nowhere super aggressive forehand and finishes the point right away.

15-40

Djesus is done for, Murray tired him out. He will not win another game from now on. Braveheart at his best.

Murray is hitting drives when stretched out wide on his bh side, when he should be using his slice way, way more that he has so far.

you got it reversed. I was the one who should've been saying that - for your joke that djoker played his best tennis at this year's AO :)

yet ZERO answers to djoker 2.0 .....7 consecutive losses, , 3 consecutive grand slam final losses, 2 straight losses on clay .......

murray atleast has 2 wins over djoker 2.0. He must be doing better than nadal vs djoker , get it ?

last point for Murray to hold serve a perfect case in point. Djoker hits a great return, Murray slices it back to give him time and neutralise the rally. Djoker has to start again and makes the error.

If Murray had tried to drive it back, Djoker would have just used the pace and taken even more of Murray's time away.

Another reason to not take your post serious.

djokovic is a changed player since the start of 2011. have you been living in 'la la' land?

yeah, probably in that old la la land where nadal used to always win vs novak when things got tight - madrid 2009, olympics 2008, hamburg 2008 ......

things have reversed since 2011 and he still seems to be stuck in the past

Just like in all his previous matches this week, Djoker's level has dropped after running away with the 1st set. This, plus Murray's slightly improved level, is what is letting Lendy stay in this match.

IF Murray can pull out this win, I think it'll be tremendous for him.

I mean, the fool has had a break point against him on every single service game. That's a lot of pressure.

Murray's inability to hit a fhdtl is really hurting him. Whenever he goes out wide on the fh side, he's ALWAYS going cross court. Djoker just waits for it and hits it to the open court, putting Murrau on the defensive from there on.

Its happening time and time again. You'd have to think that Lendl has to make this a priority to sort out.

ahhhh Djokovic is wasting all these Bps, Murray doing quite well under pressure though. Novak will be getting annoyed.

The story of Murray's life.

Apparently, 3-3 in set 2 signals the start of Murray opening his shoulders more and getting into less monotonous patterns of play. Let's see what it brings.
