Well that's clearly wrong. Tradition is to put the seed.
Yes, should have a (Q) next to Kudla.

Somehow Kudla had squeezed in 13 matches on grass this year (11-2) by playing two Challengers, the qualies and now 2 MD matches. He has wins over Anderson and Evans during that stretch in the Challengers. He is sharp and now fresher than after 1R. I’ll guess he keeps all three sets within a break by holding a bunch but he doesn’t have the weapons to break back. Joe Kovic in 3

I saw there match up live at the U.S. Open and Djokovic was slicing away (mostly because Djokovic was injured). I expect Nole to do the same.

Every match is hard.
Try winning 3 out of 5 sets at a major.
Exactly right bro. I think that’s what I was pointing out too. Just because we used to them keep doing it. It gets harder to keep producing the goods. The big 3 are just very special and amazing consistency but it gets tougher especially with age.

I think you respect Novak's opponents more than even Novak does himself. That's not a bad thing - just saying.
Remember when you said Novak should just skip clay as he is no good with age and won't do much at French Open?
I agree and I was wrong. I’m so glad to be wrong and Novak made a mug of me and many others. I was worried about the 2 week turnaround between french and Wimbledon.

Its best to be humble though. Things can all change in just one match. You know how fast things can change in tennis.

Umm Novak respects his opponents.
What does that have to do with anything?
Nadal wiped out Djokovic in 2020 and by recent results Djokovic was basically close to never winning again.
It was not until Belgrade 2 that there was even signs Djokovic was mentally and physically ready to win it again.
It took until the post match outburst after the Berratini match that I saw something where he had the mental state to win it again.
Before that it was basically fanatics believing with no results and facts to back it up.

I am a big recent results guy.
Since 2016 Djokovic did not have the mental state to win a tough SF and F at the French.
I always felt he needed to find a totally different mental state to push through.
He also played a near perfect tactical match against Nadal and did not allow Nadal to get him into a 5th set in the SF.
That was key not getting into a 5th set in the SF.

Have you listened to some of his podcasts and interviews?
I'm very surprised by how intelligent he is off court. Does a lot of stuff which is useful in real life, and he is very spiritually/philosophically aware.
Yeah they very inspiring. Novak is very intelligent and articulate. I always like listening to his interviews. He’s done so many amazing things off court.

He speaks about 6-7 languages too. It’s pretty awesome
I think his intelligence is reflected in his tennis game. IMO he outthought Nadal and Fed.
Studied their weakness and modeled his game. His recent improvements such as a bigger serve, match pacing, recognizing big moments etc is amazing too.

Yeah he goes for his shots. Will be a tough match for Novak. He will to be sharp from the get go.
Thanks bro. Yeah I enjoy the tennis and it’s important to remain humble respecting all opponents. Rooting for Djokovic all the way but love the tennis and hope to see some great matches.
Remaining humble and overrating someone's ability are two different things. Anyone can beat anyone on any given day, but to set this up as a "fun" match likes its Novak vs Sonego or someone with talent thats fun to watch is totally misleadng. Some of the stuff you say bogs my mind.

WTF. Dan Evans isn't even in the top 10. He doesn't belong on Center Court; he's not even playing a top 10 player or former champ like Norrie is. Gauff didn't deserve to be on there today either when you have FORMER CHAMPION Kerber on Court 2. That's the defense for putting Murray on Centre Court ever match, right?

This is nonsense. Roger and Murray better get Court 1 if he gets through Norrie. Disrespect to Novak and Kerbs.

Court 1 may be less slippery than Centre Court because there were more matches played on it from the beginning.

This will be Novak’s only court 1 match. He will be on centre for rest of tournament after this. It’s best it comes now than later rounds.
