Stream gone yet again. Looks like both Kudermetova and Rybakina scoring some easy holds to start the 2nd though. Probably take that as a more positive sign for Rybakina, because I expect her to get more looks. If she's upping the first serve % then she shouldn't face as much danger in her own service games.

Once in a while I'm right... Rybakina scores the first break of the 2nd set. Going to serve up 3-2. Has brought her first serve % up to 40% also, but needs to keep that up for the rest of the match.

Between the road traffic and air traffic the noise pollution on court is a total nightmare.
At least the players (Collins and Mertens) are quiet. :(

How the heck did you manage that?

I even posted three winners in this thread yesterday!

well I got super bored one of those evenings and gave in to random bets. Then started chasing once I lost on the random bets. But the most recent run I did was 34 bucks to 12k. Lol

Rybakina breaks for 6-5! Kudermetova definitely had her chances to take that game, but some critical mistakes including a double fault cost her.

Excellent! Stream cut out again, but Rybakina looks to have had an easy service game to close it out. 7-6 7-5. I thought it was gonna be a bit tougher for her today, but this one was super close. Although if Rybakina came out starting the match serving like she did in the 2nd set then it could have been more straightforward for her.

Vondrousova off to quick start it looks like too. Held off on that one even though I do love her game right now. She had to save some break points it looks like.

Who is this Hontama? Seriously. lol. About to go up 3-0 double break on Rogers. Not all that impressive, but I hadn't heard of her until after she won her first round match.

Meanwhile Vondrousova up an early break to start the 2nd.

Wow. That was all business from Vondrousova. Early break in both sets and didn't drop serve at all. Finishes off the 2nd set with a break.

Really solid win over Teichmann. Wonder who she'll be playing next.

Just seeing now that Azarenka withdrew. Mugu advancing.

Bencic and Martincova could be a tough one. Martincova playing pretty well the past few weeks or so.

Bencic seems to be in much better form today. Haven't caught too much of this one cause I've got a bit of a headache, but 6-2 first set is pretty darn good.

Random question but do you guys think that Martincova has the best ink on WTA?
Pliskova is laughing at you for asking this

(actually I like Martincova's a lot but it's not the best. too much dark ink so you can barely see any skin on her left arm, it all blends together)

Her name is literally spelled correctly in the quote.
lol... Harry's going senile if you didn't know.

Anywho...the lineup tomorrow looks really good. I know we have a lot of girls missing from this event, but we've got 3 pretty interesting matches + Muguruza tomorrow. Probably gonna take it lighter in terms of bets, but I will likely go with Vondrousova and Mugu in some fashion. Need to check the men's matches too.

Early impression is that this match will come down to if Dani can control her errors or not. She's getting some really good cuts at the ball but spraying a bit much at times.

1-1 though.

Vondrousova with the poor choice on the dropshot there. Had Dani wide on the serve and probably should have just hit it into the open court.

She's pissed about some of these line calls too. Maybe should have been 30-40. Instead it goes 40-30 and Dani holds.

I didn't catch much of it either. My stream died and I was in a few zoom calls.

Neck and neck so far in this third set though. Vondrousova needs to be careful leaving the ball too short.

What a dropshot lob combo!

Can't be getting worked up about these line calls... Umpires have been bad just have to deal with it. What's giving me less confidence though is that some of the matches the chair umps are overruling a lot, and other chair umps like this one don't do anything.

Still gets a look at the break, but Collins comes up with some big shots. She's getting a lot of work after these shorter angled backhands to Vondrousova's forehand side.
