Hey guys i just decided i want to put 2 layers of overgrip instead of 1 so should i take off the one i got now and put 2 new ones or just chuck a new one over the one i got now?Im asking this because im not sure if the 2nd layer will hold properly since the first layer isnt all that fresh.

I've tried putting another overgrip over an overgrip just to try it out. It felt definitely bigger. My forehand got more stable but my 1HBH totally sucked even more.

Also, it gave me blisters after an hour of playing with it. The handle have weird bumps.

And yes, the 2nd layer would still hold fine even if the first overgrip is all used up. Just grip it tighter.

The "fresh" 2nd overgrip should stay over the 1st "older" grip, since the new overgrip will be tacky.

Are you trying to make the grip bigger?

Yea pretty much, because we dont get 5/8s here in australia so im going to chuck 2 overgrips ontop of a 1/2.And i thought i could protect my original grip better because the last time i changed an overgrip it tore a bit of my orginal grip where the blue stuff was.

well this is just an idea. take it off get 2 new ones put them once the top one wares out take them both off and switch them around so then you have like a new on top of the old one

It depends on the feel you want. I have 2 Aero Storms. I got they at seperate times so naturally I added overgrips as I went along, trying to find my perfect fit. I found out 3 over grip over my 4 3/8 was the right size for me. So one the stick I got first I have 2 used overgrips with the third being replaced once used. On the newer stick, since I new the number of grips I liked I went ahead and put those on there, and I like how the new over grips make the whole grip even as compared to the other where the bottom in a bit smaller since that is where most of the wearandtear takes place.
