A player having a good year, but will probably not be mentioned often...

...Marinko Matosevic

Won the Athens Challenger, got to the quarters in Munich, the semis in the Nottingham Challenger, the second round in Indian Wells(a 1000 event), the finals in Delray Beach, and won the Caloundra challenger.

He's a rare bird this year that has had some form of success in both the challengers circuit and main circuit. Started the year 203 and now is 82 in the world.

Nice year. Keep up the good work.

is also a terrific guy

took time out to sign a ball and even had a hit with my then 10 yr old at a challenger back in 2010, seen him a couple of times since and he never fails to stop and have a chat.

really nice guy.
