I'm about to buy a 8/10 Wilson nCode Six-One Team 18x20 Racket from my friend but I just wanted to make sure it was real before doing so....Apparently he got it off the infamous racketguy from **** (http://cgi.*********/WILSON-NCODE-N...ryZ66831QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) but it's funny because my friend's racket is a bit different than the ones shown everywhere else...

My friend's racket handle/grip is white and it says ALPHA while all the other ones found on Google are plain black. The other difference is my friend's racket strings are clear/white while the other ones on Google are clear/white with the red Wilson logo.

Should I be concerned at all?

And is 75 USD a good deal for this moderately used racket?

your friend probably regripped it and had differet strings...and 75 bucks for this racquet is a pretty good deal but i think it would be more worth it to buy a new racquet at that price such as the liquidmetal radical or dunlop m-fil 300

So you're saying the rackets you mentioned are better performers than the nCode 6.1 Team? Or just a better value at that price range?

The rackets that noobplayer mentioned are similar in spec to the team so it'd be smarter to get a new racket that plays more or less the same to the tour for the 75 bucks.

Also, the rackets aren't "a better performer". They're a bit different. If they suit your style of play, they're for you. Otherwise, they're not. Simply really :)

Just my opinion.

Thanks.

Any particular type of strings you recommend from Wilson, Head or Babolat? I'm gonna most likely buy the racket off an **** seller, so I might as well get some strings off him too...
