Actual Live Pics of the Black US Open Nike Vapor IV's

I didn't know if anyone would be interested but I was lucky enough to grab one of the 50 pairs of the Black Nike Zoom Vapor IV's that Roger wore for the US Open night matches and have some fairly good close up pics, so take a look if you are interested. I personally love them and am glad he went to a black shoe, and they look great up close and in person. I am lucky to have gotten a pair and couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Was lucky enough to have a good friend be at the Open at the time they went on sale. I always go to the open but this was the first year (of course!) I couldn't go due to my work schedule, so I was very happy to have a good friend come through for me. They had 50 pair for sale at the Nike Booth at the Open in size 10, 11 and 12 only, no half sizes, so luckily again I wear a ten. They sold them for $200 which is high but I think it's worth it now, 50 pair is pretty few out there. And the detail is amazing on these. Now if I could only have gotten his gold Wimby shoes! ha ha

that is awesome, i left the tourney the sat before the monday when they were on sale. good for you they look sweet. i would hold on to them tho and not wear them. will be worth some nice money soon enough.

It's funny that during his press conference after the final, Federer was asked by a reporter if he enjoyed wearing his all black "Darth Vader" outfit and he replied that he liked the black clothes but that he doesn't really care for the black shoes or socks but that he only wore them to "complete the outfit". Everybody in the room burst out laughing.

Personally i like many of the other versions of the Vapor IV. Pretty cool to have the ones with all of the insignia on them though. Well done

Sweet shoes, but they are still not the exact copy of Fed's black Vapor IV. The plastic shiny piece around the heal has a cut out on Fed's shoes, but these are like the retail ones. F N' Nike!!!! I still don't get why they won't give people the exact looking shoe Fed has.....

i happen to have those in a size 10 for sale not the exact Wimby version but the gold version they sold to the public ...ok ok...you probably mean the fed version at wimby but it was worth a shot
