Adidas's designs are sooo much better than Nike's. But Nike use better material in their clothes. A blend of both would be ideal really. :)

P.S As posted above, Adidas pro's do wear the exact same clothes you can buy.

I don't like the Djoker, but that shirts is awesome. I wonder if they will offer other colorways. I will totally get that. It's the falcon wing across his back. Great design.

TW has new Competition and Response lines for summer up. I like the new Competition line, but the Response line looks similar to the designs of a few years ago.

no kidding.. i was sifting through the adidas site and all their shirts are very boring.. the tees are whatever, but the polos are definitely not impressive.. a bit overprice imo as well

For sure spring was better

That being said, i didn't realise that on the Edge shirt you could have that much non-white, Wimbledon only allow 5 % non-white on shirts.

And yet if Federer dons a plain polo shirt it's classy, right?

some may think so, but still boring to me. i mean, the only totally, all white shirt fed would wear would be at wimbledon. i'm by no means a federer cheerleader, but even still, i think nike does a decent job with white shirts. some interesting detail here and there. don't get me wrong, i don't always dislike adidas, just this particular polo. this year's polos haven't been great, but at least the last one had a black stripe across the back and down the sleeves. a little more interesting. it just looks like this polo belongs in the "basics" group, not the top of the line "competition" group.

See, the thing is, companies like adidas are in business to appeal to as many people as possible, because they sell more stuff that way. Crazy, eh? So they try to make lines that will reach different customers. The Competition line is a bit more conservative than the Edge line, so the designs reflect that (and there are always guys who want a plain white shirt). If you want more intriguing colorways and designs, you buy the Edge stuff. More basic, go Response or Competition (though they always have at least one fairly bold polo in the Comp line, and this season there's a pretty cool crew as well.) I can understand you thinking a plain white shirt is boring - I agree on a personal level, actually - but to fault adidas for offering that kind of shirt, or to suggest that no one would be interested in a plain white shirt, is just a bit foolish.
