Adidas lack of cushioning

I wonder if it´s just for me, or if Adidas shoes have really poor cushioning, specially in the forefoot. I own a pair of Barricade´s II and just got a pair of a3 accelerate, and I feel like walking bare-footed with any of them. I love the way they look, but they are killing my feet. After wearing them for a set I switch back to my nike Breathe III´s and felt like I was walking in clouds, haha.
I´ve yet to try any other brand beside those 2, and I was about to give the Reebok Match day pump a try, but if they resamble in any way the Adidas cushioning, I think I will stick to zoom air for a long time, what do you guys think?

try some softsole insoles. i get the arch version (red). i stick them in all my shoes; running and tennis shoes. it will have much more cushioning and arch support than anway stock cushion in any brand tennis shoe. it also helped me with my shin splint. there's a 1 year warranty on them too.
