Okay, now that we have confirmed it was a Genius II that Murray was wearing during his pre-US Open practice and not a Barricade VI, is there a Barricade VI coming out in 2010? And if not, what are the new Barricade V colorways?

It seems like the BV has been around a long time, but it's been less than two years.
I hope they don't change the Barricade any time soon just for the sake of change. I like the shoe the way it is.
As far as new colorways, they seem to follow the colors of the new clothing lines which makes sense from a coordination standpoint. There was a lot of red in this year's line and we saw the introduction of a red/white colorway along with the standard white/black and solid black ones.
Next year's clothing line has a lot of green and dark blue so it wouldn't surprise me to see a new colorway to match.

I think you're mistaken. We didn't confirm that at all. The Genius is the shoe shown above by Babolast. It's quite different from the shoe Murray was wearing in the footage (which was most likely a pre-release B VI). Based on the usual adidas production schedule, the B VI should be out in the first half of 2010.

They came out at the beginning of 2008, and the Barricades have had a two year cycle in recent years. So it's reasonable to expect the B VI during 2010.

That is definitely still a Barricade V only in a different colorway. The VI is coming out around July 2010.

that is wierd, adidas do such nice stuff for him, murray and djoko should be with adidas. I think k swiss arnt nearly has gd as adidas.

For whatever it's worth, the big tennis shop in the UK lists the first 2010 (Australian) Competition shirts as being "Core Teal" and "Acid Buzz". The matching Barricades are Black w/ Teal stripes. There is also special edition Competition clothing and Barricades in "Pool Blue" which I assume will be the Andy Murray line.
The "Core Orange" Competition clothing is listed for a March delivery which would seem to indicate that it will be the French Open colors.
Hey Nev1, is this colorway set to available for the AO? And since you have these kicks, what are diffrences to the 1's? cheers.

Comp line is avilabile for pre-order on p r o d i r e c t t e n n i s and its very nice....But nothing about edge and djokovic line( if he stays with adidas)...I hope that shoes and the rest of the stuff will be there soon.
