I want to buy a new racket. Playing for 3 years with the extreme pro 2.0. Playing a lot of doubles. Big flat serve, powerfull forehand with a little spin and a flat one handed backhand. The racket is perfect for the returns, but on volleys it don't feel like a maneuverable racket and it does not offer me that touch. And my serves are powerful but I miss the accuracy.

I tested some lighter rackets with less swingweight, but not that satisfied:
Youtek radical mp.
Blade 18x20
Wilson six one 95s

Radical was like a junior racket. No plow no stability, way too flexible. Blade: not really maneuverable. Six one 95s: great allrounder; loved its volleys, but the 18x16 eats strings and the stringbed reacted in some ways strange, could be the spintechnology.

Which head or wilson racket would be worth it to demo also and could fit my game?

Graphene speed pro 18x20 maybe?

What so different about it if u compare it with the EP 2.0?

A little bit more control would be nice too. Maybe the 18x20 string pattern of the GSP would help me? The GSP more maneuverable?

The Speed will have more control and less power, but it will still be very stable for its weight. The racquet obviously provides less spin with the denser string pattern, however, that gives a more consistent and controllable response, especially up at net. You could try the Wilson Pro Staff 97 as well.

Wilson Pro Staff 97 ? Looks close spec wise supposed to be good for volleys. Shouldn't be bad on strings.

Whats the more forgiving racket? PS97 or the GSP? My technique and footwork isnt the best since Im a tall guy. More like a power player who loves to volley and return, keep the points short. The control on my one handed backhand with the EP 2.0 is just awfull.

Based on the comparison of the racquets by TWU, the Speed Pro is ever so slightly more forgiving, but I don't think it is sufficient to be a significant factor.

Local shop here told me the ps97 isnt an all rounder and feels stiff like a blx six tour and wasn't really arm friendly. With poor footwork and technique I could better try another racket. Testracket ps97 wasnt there. Specs wise it's a racket in my weelhouse. Gonna test the GSP and the ps97 though.

Read the review ps97 from tennis warehouse and enough people who said it was a great all rounder. So I doubt if my local shop did give a good advice.

Your local shop doesn't have much of a clue I'm afraid. The PS 97 definitely is an all rounder, playing well at net and from the baseline and the lowish swingweight makes it relatively easy to play with. It is kinda string sensitive though. The Graphene Speed Pro is less arm friendly IMO.

So the PS 97 is also a racket for the people who arent have that perfect Federer-technique and footwork?

definitely. It is pretty darn forgiving IMO. Andy called it a modern payer's racquet for a good reason (these are more powerful and forgiving racquets which remind of player's racquets, but are much easier to use).

The Graphene Speed Pro definitely is a very good starting point.

They didnt got the Graphene Speed pro as a tester, but the older speed mp 315 gram 18x20. Played pretty good, control with the one handed backhand. But at the forehand side it felt sometimes like a rocket launcher. Outside the sweetspot balls just landed short.

A lot of difference between this older mp and graphene speed pro? Both 18x20 and 315 gram?

Tested the 315 T-flash, but didnt feel realy connected with the ball, at the net a lot of instability.

End of november I can test the PS 97, then my local shop have the ps97 as a tester.

How about a Blade 93? More maneuverable than the 98, 18x20 pattern, good on 1 hander and volleys very well. Lower power than you are used to but that might help with control. Hit with the IG speed Pro and that was a tank. Heavy, small sweet spot and maneuvered like a log. Was not a fan of that stick. It belonged to a guy on my doubles team whom I used to beat. Then he bought an APD:oops:
