Wow, never intended this to be a TTW classic. And no I don't think Agassi did suggest he shave his head.

What is scary though, truly scary, is that so many people strongly resisted the notion that he was going bald. Heck Federer is going bald at the front as well, along with Murray.

Not a big deal anymore, guys just go bowling ball/chrome now. Its not a bad look if you are in shape, if you are fat faced, its pretty grim.

Nadal's hair will be fine once he retires, after he is done with Tennis he can focus on hair regeneration. As an active sportsman it is tough for someone like him. Not everyone can be Djokovic and as great as Novak's hair is, even he is having a small level of receding hairline with age, it is negligible and most people will take his over anybody else's on earth but even he is not immune to it, so what chance does someone like Nadal who is bald have???

Djokovic's hairline itself has shown mild signs of receding hair loss due to his age, then who the hell are you brother ????

Even I have hairline which wont recede but we play dont sports at an elite level, the medicines that stuffs that these players take, the training they do, the testosterone levels they produce in their body, the result of that will be DHT which will result in hair loss. Even women athlete dont have as good hair as normal girls of their age, why is that? Don't compare yourself with Nadal or anyone, you sitting on your couch and cheerleading Djokovic won't understand the problems Nadal faces for his hair or on his body.

Look at Novak's hair, it is dwindling from the front side, nobody is immune to hair loss, not even him.

Djokovic's body certainly looks like a 22-25 year old's body and his hair also complements it, but that face... urghhh

Nadal obviously is way too old, face, hair, everything is gone.... if he didnt have his biceps and fitness then he would look close to 50.

Is it ? Well good for him it stayed for so long. He is very lucky. Not everyone will have it.

Athletes have problem maintaining good hair... dont you know that ? ... look at Rybakina, Swiatek, Sabalenka etc etc, despite being women they have huge foreheads and less hair on the front..... when they enter their 30s they will lose more hair density and also from the front..... surely they wont look like men but compared to normals girls around you they will have less hair

Most of my coworkers are in their 40s and 50s. They range from Stephanek to completely bald. The few that are in their 30s are like Stephanek.

You spend most of your first 30+ years being outdoors in the hot sun almost every day and see what you look like in your 40's. He should probably shave his head while he's still playing like Agassi did as once the initial shock wears off, it will normalize with the masses.

Seems that southern Italians bald earlier than then northern ones, or it is even easier to spot. Is that also true in Spain? Maybe full hair was more important in the wide Steppe than in old Anatolia...

Why people care so much about this? Like, "if you lose hair you have to shave ASAP" people have so many complexes, and care so much about looking good to other people, they should Focus in being confortable with what they have, thats whats gonna make you more appealing to everybody

I also think it’s a bit funny when people try and say Nadal’s hairloss isn’t that severe and post pictures where he’s posing in a studio, having clearly spent an hour in makeup to try and spread what’s there as evenly as possible.

I think it's the long hair in your teens to mid-20s, seems like many who have long ponytail length hair always end up balding, maybe the weight of it stresses out the follicles 8-B . But I know nothing, this is just incidental (Pete is in same balding boat and he never had long hair!).

Actually, Rafa bashers are constantly mocking his hairloss on TTW, not his fans. The fans like him for many reasons.

Yeah, its funny how some people worry about nadals loss of hair when It clearly isnt bothering him, coolness is subjective, having hair alone aint gonna make you cool, its just a shallow tought, he naturally loses hair so what? I couldnt care less, if people want their idols to look cool they should f*cking grow Up and realize they are just normal people like everyone, their sh*t smells too, they fart, they lose hair, they go to jail and they will die too, they just hit a ball good, lets judge them for that

Been a Nadal fan since 05 but I sure don’t see what you’re seeing. He definitely doesn’t look the same, lost some muscle mass (bulkiness) over the years to get more fit. He’s lean more than anything compared to then

Even in the recent photo the hair is gone and that too after 2 hair transplants and he is wearing the cap.

Because he can, money isnt an issue for him, if It meant something to spend 5000 or 7000 on that im sure he wouldnt, but what im really critizicing is this huge concern in modern world for hair loss, some people Lost hair in the 80s too and It wasnt talked about, but we are in the super shallow era, where men shave even their armpits and if you lose some hair you have to shave your head completly to have some decency and look acceptable, disgusting honestly
