Alu soft versus regular standard Alu Power

Is ALU soft a proper soft version of ALU power or does it suck like how 4G soft is so much worse than real 4G? Does it play like Alu Power but just softer?
How would you define a "proper soft version" of any string? Anything changed to make it softer fundamentally changes a string. Besides, the use of aluminum and the silver color are about where similarities of any ALU soft vs ALU proper would end. And in that regard, YES, it is a proper soft version of ALU.

Well unlike 4G soft it would play very similarly to the regular 4G but a softer ball contact.

What do you think is different about the way they play? Is alu soft as good or better?

I demoed soft when it first came out and generally liked how it played. But I also never found ALU to be particularly stiff so I preferred the regular. Mostly because we had a TON of it lying around.

If I wanted to stay in the ALU silo and use a soft string I would just go straight to Element though. I find them all to play really well for a relatively flat game

I'd like to hear some good feedback as well. I've heard many say that the soft version loses tension a bit quicker. As if we needed to hear that... right?
