Amer Delic loses on the first round in the Wimbledon qualifying.

I am so pissed that this guy lost at the qualifying for this year's Wimbledon. He's got an amazing serve, he had 70 aces in the Aussie Open this year in 3 matches. He beat Mathieu and won a set over Djokovic. But what's happened to him?

He lost in the third round of the qualifying this year at RG too...how does this happen? He's one of the greatest players I know, does anybody know if he's had any injuries?

It's very strange, indeed. He played very well at the Australian Open, so it's hard to imagine him losing to a low-ranked player.


Maybe he had an off day.....


Maybe the reason why he's ranked so low in the first place is that he's not consistent enough to put together consecutive match wins.


Oh well....I hope he gets a wild-card into the US Open.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But maybe he's just a straight-up hard court player, apparently he's not doing too well on grass and clay.

Yeah, a pitty. I like Delic's game, and I'm surprised that he lost in the quallys, I thought his game really suited grass play... but oh well.

He had been compared to Pete Sampras when he was in college. but he has tendency to take huge cuts at the ball and he miss times alot of balls due to bad bounce on grass. and i think this is why his game doesn't translate well on grass.:???:
