The Olympic games may be arguable more prestigious than WTF or any other events bar GS, I would consider a WTF the more impressive accomplishment than an Olympic games. The draw at the Olympic games are comparable to the Masters in the past with 5 set finals. While it is nice to have, I wouldn't include it when discussing someone's case for GOAT (if there does exist a GOAT) unless they have won it multiple times to reflect their longevity at the top. Similarly between a wimbledon winner or a US/AO winner, the wimbledon winner may have won the more prestigious event but the field is much weaker than the field in the hard court slams so I would have taken the hard court winner as the more impressive player.

wait a sec, wasn't Sampras perceived as the GOAT before Fed came along? Sampras never won the career GS (as Nadal already has). He was basically the grass GOAT to Nadal's clay GOAT.
