i know that´s and old topic, but i can´t help feeling annoyed everytime i see people taking into account only Grand Slams when it comes to pick the GOAT.

So, according to some people, lets say Federer or Nadal or whoever wins:

13 Grand Slams
6-7 runner-up on Grand Slams
20 Masters series (Masters 1000)
2-3 olympic gold medals
4-5 davis cups
...

would it be Sampras still regarded Goat for some people because he won 1 more Grand Slam? It doesn´t make any sense to me.

PD:Laver is awsome, but when he won all those Grand Slams, i think 3 of them where played on Grass, so he just needed to dominate on one kind of court

yap could be, but the GOAT topic will never end because it is broad and posters have different opinions and favorites, i for one thinks D' true GOAT is not in the tour yet....
