Any pros really using the 2018 Pure Drive or Pure Drive Plus

Has anyone determined if any male or female pros are truly playing with the newest version of the Pure Drive or Pure Drive Plus from 2018 and NOT an older version painted like the 2018 model? If so, please write some names here. Thank you

I would suspect the answer today is a resounding 'no'. However, resurrect this thread in 8-10 years, and you'll get a resounding 'yes'...

Julia Goerges uses the Pure Drive. Look for these racquets on Tennis Warehouse, it will show you who endorses them.

How about Karolina Pliskova? Fabio Fognini? Those are the only other players I can think of that "endorse" the PD. I doubt the Fog is using a "stock" frame, though.

So no, she doesn’t use the new Pure Drive

So just out of curiosity what racquet is that? I’ve heard about pros using racquets that aren’t the original, I’ve just never seen one. Is it possible that it’s an actual Pure Drive that’s been modified.

There is just no time for pros to change rackets. So they mainly stick with a frame or spec that they've played.

Its a Pure Drive, but most likely the 2012 Roddick version as that is the time frame that she switched from her Wilson:

The question was "is any pro using the 2018 version of the Prue Drive", and as @weelie posted, there's not enough time for them to adjust. The only case for using the new version is if they changed to the Pure Drive in 2018 or 2019 from another manufacturer.

Julia's using an older version of the Pure Drive. The other poster mentioned the painted over active cortex above the grip. Active cortex was a feature of the 2012 and I believe 2015 pure drives. You can differentiate those two based on the string spacing.

See @McLovin 's post also.

Oh I see. it is 2013 pure drive. That was the lightest SW racket ever made by babolat

TBH, if a pro actually used a particular racquet model the same year it released, there'd be a thread about it already.
