Anyone bought TT Warrior new lately?

I just bought one from TW but with even with pre-strung string it weighs only 305g!!! Its 15g off from the strung weight specified on TW's web... Oh, there is a paper insert stating the spec of Triple Threst series (without specific series) is 265 +/- 10g.

The net weight of the racquet is 293g after I cut the string, just figuring how to tuck in 37g to hit my target figure of 330g with 5 pts HL?

The latest batches of the Warriors have seen lower quality controls. The originals were actually fairly close to spec, but now, Prince has been fairly loose with quality control.

Yeah I bought a couple of them and then promptly sold them off because they weren't very good.

Bought 2, 4 1/4 grips from TW back in June. TW sent me a matched pair that came in at 318g. With overgrip, dampner, and my strings they play at 328g. (my scale is in 2g increments). Good racquets.

I did get a light one about 6mos prior to that. Came in at 308g (prestrung wt.) I added weight at the top of the handle. Plays fine, but it is slightly different than the other two.

This is the biggest problem with buying such an old frame like this. By now, the company is more worried about keeping up the quality on their newest frames, so the quality control of what are essentially reproduction models is not as good.

If you want to make it the weight you would like, use TW's customization tool. It can help you figure out where you need to put how much weight to get the weight/balance setup you want.

I bought one a while back. It was 306 grams strung. A little disappointed with the weight so I havent really tried it much. I was hoping to find a stick I didnt need to add weights to when I bought it.
