I had a version of that when I was younger, back in the early 90s I think. It was Tourna I believe. Had an orange or red square base with one ball on an elastic string. I got some good use out of it, but the string and ball will wear out pretty quick if you work at it a lot. I think it was only like $10.

Recall a guy using this to warm-up before playing,

With TLMS spin and pace I would be afraid for low orbiting satellites... no way that kinetic cord could hang
While you are kidding, what you are saying is absolutely true. He’d separate the ball from the cord in no time at all.

Its the rotations really. Its not rated for that kind of abuse. I really want to get one and sue the crap out of them. It says it can be setup anywhere. Omg my apt would be destroyed

in terms of tennis device trainers, i can't think of anything worse to spend my money on. can anyone think of a worse trainer? snapped mine in 2 hits... i suppose if you took mini tennis type strokes, i might make it work...

Ball's nap wore thin so quickly and the ball bounced so low, looked like he was beating a dirty grey mouse. When the cord broke wonder if anyone picked it up?

These things can be really useful if you don't have access to a court with a backboard or a wall somewhere. I used one for a while when I was younger and I got some value out of it. It doesn't take long to out grow it though.

You can always come up with a way to save some money and get a ball machine. I was able to do that eventually. The ball machine is a much better tool, but also much more expensive.

Majority of tennis courts in this area no longer have walls.

Ideal walls are parabolic or slanted (15 degrees or so), not vertical. Not so many of those around.
Unless you carry your own,
