Anything light and wide?

Currently using Court FF2s in size 7.5, but coming to the time i need to change shoes. If i were to buy these again would need to size up, cause i get quite bad pain in my midfoot area as that parts quite wide. Want to get something lighter. Durability is of no concern as im quite light myself and am light on my shoes. Would like lateral stability as well as i broke my ankle in the past. Looking at the vapor range, not sure nxt or pro. I tried the X in a size 7 and was far too tight, but am wondering how 8 would fare. Any other options?

Look at the KSwiss Hypercourt Supreme. Light and wide. If you need wider, check out the Hypercourt Express. I always thought of KSwiss as old guys shoes but they’ve upped their game.

I have flat feet and typically try to order 2E. Not sure if my feet are as wide, but the Babolat Jet Mach IIIs are wide enough for me and are maybe the most comfortable tennis shoe I've tried out. No break in at all and is ready to go as soon as you put it on. I bought 3 pairs.

NOTE: The pairs I ordered are regular size, not 2E.

I wear them for hard court training only. I go through soles pretty fast so a budget or clearance shoe saves money. They are as good as any shoe I have used under $100.00. They are pretty light and stability is good. If I was playing league on hard courts, I would have a Tier 1 shoe and use the New Balance 696v4 for practice. I use clay specific Adidas SoleCourt Boost only for my league play which is on clay.

Mizuno wave exceed 4s are a lighter option of a slightly wider than average shoe. May be worth trying on.

Wilson rush pro’s are wide. Wider than Nike that is for sure.

They are wider than many of those although not truly wide. For me they are much more comfortable than the Mizunos

Can you scale the Speed 5s as well if you can? This is some bs

All sites other than Diadoras list the weight of the Flys as 15.4 so there was clearly an error somewhere but they are actually quite light. The Speed 5s are definitely 15.4 or thereabout. They have far more plastic and hard material than the Flys so they could not.possibly weigh the same.

Yes but @TW Staff claims that each model is weighed individually in-house so unless all other website leaches their information from tennis warehouse, that would mean that either

1. Your scale is off
2. You are lying
3. Tennis warehouse's scale is off
4. @TW Staff is lying about measuring each model individually
5. The size 10 Flys are 2.5 ounces lighter than the same shoes in size 10.5

All of which are difficult to believe

Personally I highly doubt 4. Cannot vouch for my scale but I can guarantee the Flys 3 weigh significantly less than the Speed 5s

I just updated the Fly 3 weight on our descriptions. Instead of 15.4 oz, we reweighed at 14.5 oz, so it looks like a couple of numbers got transposed. Sorry about that! As for the Fila Volley Zones, those were confirmed at 13.8 oz. Please also note that weights do vary slightly from shoe to shoe.

So I just couldnt resist buying the us open vapor pros. They are just too pretty and really wanted them. Figured maybe, just maybe, if i size up a whole size they might work. But nah,the pain was still as bad as with the vapor Xs. No idea if theyre broken in but my feet cant handle them anymore. And plus sizing up defeated the purpose of a lighter shoe. Put the FF2s back and honestly i was in heaven. You dont know the benefits you have until theyre not there anymore. FF2s it is. Maybe size up half a size next time round

Wait the FF2s fit wide / flat feet? If so, I need to get a pair. If it's getting it one size up not sure if that will work for me. I prefer the shoe to fit snug on my toes.

yonex sonicage in wide was pretty great for me, pretty comfortable for how light they are. i never felt unsteady in them or rolled my ankle, and they feel low to the ground which helps. the only issue for me was durability, i smoothed out the outsoles in less than a month without playing every day, but for you that might be a good thing if you prefer your outsoles not to be too sticky for your ankles.

+1 for kswiss hypercourt supreme. they're between a 2E and normal size, though of course you'll have to try them on for your feet.

Oddly enough I tried both. Bought one Sonicage wide and ordered another. The Hyeprcourt was too tight for me so I returned if before giving it a chance to get broken in.

The Sonicage on first Demo felt more tight after the first hit. Canceled the 2nd order

I used to use Prince racquets in the late 90s to early 00s and have always envied the racquet models in Japan.
