Speaking about 'A Star Is Born' (referring to Bill's post about Rogers)...

Move over Ash Barty.
There's another Ash on the prowl.
This one a cougar. Big-hitting American babe with excellent serve.
Only 19, Ash Cougar ™ a name to remember! :)

Took Lin Zhu (no slouch) 6-3, 7-6 in the Osaka 2023 final for her first WTA title with relative ease.

Strange, nobody seemed to notice. Not a peep around here, or anywhere else. When Parks won a low level tournament though...

They just need to say something about the GOAT debate.

If they wanna be a star on TTW, they gotta pay the price.

Yeah it is kind of funny.
I must say, even though it was the first time I watched her play I was mighty impressed by her whole package.
Starting with her poise, quiet demeanor, no-nonsense approach backed up by first class ball-striking.
You could also tell she has good confidence in her game.
I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more from this gal.

Yeah, my immediate thought was: 'she seems like the American version of Rybakina.'

Saw her play in person in Austin, she didn't have a great tournament here, but she definitely has the potential. Taylor Dent has been saying she's going to be very very good so that is a promising endorsement.
