Probably at about 12 or 13. Don’t really remember if I did before then. Only really got into AFL as a kid.

I'm 29 and started watching Andre Agassi and Martina Hingis in the late 90's, so I would've still been about 8/9 years old.
I started watching sports at a very young age - been watching:
- Olympics since Atlanta 1996 (age 6)
- tennis since 1998 (age 8); AA and Hingis were my first fav players
- basketball since 1998 (age 8); I remember seeing this bald man named "Jordan" kill his opponent, hold a trophy, then disappear after that
- hockey since 2000 (age 10); Jagr and Lemieux were my fav players
- golf since 2000 (age 10); this Tiger Woods fella made a boring country-club game look cool for my gen
- Super Bowls since 2001 (age 11); loved Britney back in the day and to this day, I haven't seen a performance top the one in '01. I don't remember anything from the game though lol
- futbol since 2002 (age 12); R9 and Ronaldinho from that Brazilian WC-winning team had my young self in awe
- baseball since 2003 (age 13); Roy Halladay was a local favorite in hometown of TO

I attended the Boy's Nationals in Kalamazoo when I was 11. (I lived there, though, and could walk to the stadium!)

My dad watched tennis and played very rarely when I was 5 or 6, but I didn't really care about tennis until I was 11, because I had a game called mario power tennis. Both my sister and I liked the game so we drew our own makeshift tennis court and tried to play. Joined a tennis club in the 7th grade. I never really cared for pro tennis as entertainment until I moved to the Philippines, and I was around 16, when I saw some youtube videos of Federer highlights and it got me back into it. Became my obsession to the point where I would take a ride an hour away just so I could play for 30 minutes with a ****ty tennis ball at the nearest court. It was scary every time, because all the taxi drivers saw me as potential easy pickings as a foreigner, and tried to scam me all the time. I still don't much care for pro tennis. It's just my way of holding myself over when I can't play tennis myself. Would much rather be playing it than watching it.
