the top match of 2011 is Federer-Rafa wtf bageling session

Seriously, Fed semis vs Djoko was sick
and in term of drama, their us open semi was also something special

Was at the Tipsy Berdych match, was funny because i was a little disappointed i wasn't seeing a Murray Berdych matchup since Murray pulled out just the day before with his injuries, so i went into the Tipsy Berdych match a little disappointed but still looking forward to the match and ironically was the best match i saw there in terms of the competitiveness, (obviously the Fed-Rafa match i was at was my favorite) but in terms of the match overall it was amazing with very dramatic ending with Berdych saving mp in the 3rd set tiebreak and on his mp poor Tipsy falling over and almost injuring himself, great match.

Are these just the best non-slam matches? Because I'm having trouble believing Federer-Djokovic at the French or US Open didn't make the list.

3. Nadal/Delpo Davis Cup Final
4. Nalbandian/Hewitt AO 1st round
5. Nadal/Isner RG 1st round

i would say the nadal/djokovic slam finals will take at least one of those spots.

the top three they chose were all excellent matches, but i would've chosen different, in particularly 3 and 5.

Replace Federer-Djokovic at US open with Nadal-Djokovic at US open, because the former one was already mentioned in the comeback category.
To be honest top 2 best of 5/best of 3 matches this year is no guess, it is obvious. And all of them featured Novak.

They have 'comeback of the year' category for Fed-Djok US open. Ofcourse it was also one of the best of the year but surely they won't nominate the same match twice. But I would also place RG final in top 5, it was arguably Fed's best match against Nadal at the French and he still lost. Anyway, it was entertaining to watch.

as they should.
they might even put djoko/nadal USO at #1 before fed/djoko RG because it was a slam final and the matchup was obviously the biggest rivalry of the year.

Agreed. I actually think the Ferrer/DelPo Davis Cup match was better than the Nadal match. Nadal played like crap the first set and DelPo ran out of gas at the end. The Ferrer match was more closely contested and Ferrer showed a tremendous amount of heart.
