Australian Fans Urged to Show Respect

There is also this weird fad going round now with people copying the Ronaldo celebration - which rings out like a booing noise.

Incidentally, it's spelt "sim", not "siu" as a lot of people seem to think (Portuguese for "yes")

And tennis is no longer the embodiment of class and decorum. Can anyone name one truly wonderful crowd? Seems we have had issues with crowds at all the Slams.

Tennis Australia didn't show respect towards the Federal rule and has cost taxpayers a lot of money for the legal battles. Perhaps it's time for taxpayers to not show respect to Tennis Australia.

Please press the ignore button and stop feeding the troll

They always get their posts deleted as soon as the mods arise from their slumber.

I'm not a fan of the block/ignore function. It always reeks of sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting "nyah, nyah, I can't hear what the nasty man is saying!".

Bad thing about the ignore button is, even after we ignore people, they can read our comments. That defeats the purpose of ignoring, here ignoring is more like running away. On forums like Facebook if we press BLOCK button then our posts or even our profile stop being visible to the other person and vice versa too. That is how the block button should be in these forums too.

Sounds like another salty player blaming the crowd for his loss. Hilarious how this player couldn't even specify how the crowd disrespected him. At least Medvedev had some bogus excuse about the crowd being loud in between his serves (the hell does he expect when playing in matches with actual atmosphere lmao). I actually saw the match and Medvedev was exaggerating anyway.

Countries don't become banana republic over the night. The societies become rotten and radicalised first over period of time which give rise to dictatorships. I won't be surprised if next war mongering fascist dictator comes out of Australia. Because their society looks ready for it.

Just speaking about Tennis - just move slam out of this rotten country ASAP. Tennis players and fans deserve better.

The only posts referring to anything other than the AO Open I can see are yours debating with the troll. That's why it's better to use ignore. For those of us who have put him on ignore, YOU are the person trolling the thread.

It's not the darts. There should be no noise when the players are serving.

I think that there is an argument for ignoring active spammers like Sabratha, but otherwise I think that people should just pass over the comments of posters whom they don't jibe with, rather than using the ignore option.

Plus, most people will still have some interesting thoughts on some random subject, even if they are idiotic on 90%+ of other topics.
