tennis channel is sad they have 4 hours of coverage and they're going to immediately switch over to the mighty fed as soon as he comes on instead of watching continuing to watch this great match between tsitsipas and Basha viola

Tsits got some bad luck there. The set was his but the serve was called out but his reaction is too much. Now he has two time violations and a code violation.

He hit a service winner but the linesperson called it out so they had to replay the point. Then he berated the linesperson on the changeover. Umpire gave him a code violation because of that.

I don't think I'm gonna be able to root for Tsits in the future. Lol. I never got why he got a bad rep but I see some of it today. Khachanov is probably gonna be my new fave from the new generation.

I didn't like him at the start, thought he was a diva. Then liked him late last year when he got on his run in Toronto I think but I feel same, he's not really as good as people think.

Chung, Khachanov, De Minaur and others are more respectful

Why? If I were Tsitsipas I would be furious - can you imagine if any of the big 3 had this terrible of a call against them? it would not have been tolerated!

Two sets to 1 now... one more set for Tsitsipas. So glad he won that 3rd set, later than he should have though.

Yea he acted like an asshat towards that linesperson. I could see someone showing a little frustration and maybe having a few words for them but that was way over the top and uncalled for. I see why Bullsheet Russian had a problem with him.

Lol. The big 3 would have walked back to that line and hit another service winner or at least held serve. He lost his concentration and let it get him too upset and distracted him. Then I think he got another time violation before the replay and lost his 1st serve. That was his own fault.

I’ve always felt like he has this air of arrogance around him, which I hate. I’m more of a fan of players like Minotaur and Shapo

Medvedev is actually a decent guy. Already married like Khachanov and Fritz, good guys.

Tsitsipas is the rock star this next gen has been waiting for. He's just sure of himself, the right mentality to be a champion.

If that's not overhype then I don't know what is. He barely won the second set over Basil and now the latter is clearly injured and checked out. So Tsitsipas got a huge break.

I get it, he wants to win but there's a fine line between competitiveness and trying to cheat.
oh please

can always tell i made the right choice in a new player pick when the Djoko-nationalists start acting like haters!

still mad he beat your boy?

Is he any more arrogant than Djokovic was in his early days? I think he managed to hold himself together quite well. Many players would have been ranting and raving. The thing is that he hung in
