the demo version showed up in tennis shop along with team version (10.4 oz strung) and light version(9.9 oz strung).

I strung up the regular GT and hit with it.
the feel is much better( less stiff ) and there is a touch more power. I strung it with NV babolat string but I need to string it with NXT next.

Thanks for the Info. Which of the three is Stiffest ? and do you know what the stiffness index is ?? and if the regular version is less stiff, how can it be more powerful ?? More stiff the more power,,, right ???

I was told that he is already experimenting with it in practice ...

rafa is a player who doesnt not like change. he would have practised with it to give feedback and for other reasons, reasons like this where word gets out he is actually using it. if u remember he also was trying the revenge string at some point last year. the only thing he has changed is moving to shirts from vests, and he used to practice in regular shirts all the time so that wasnt a big deal. his shoes are spec made. his racket and string set up has been the same for about 6 years now

no change on stiff rating (still says 72), tennis shop's machine says (70 stiff). of the three the light version is (74 stiff) on tennis shop, these are demo version so they can vary than the production version a little. I found the regualr GT much more arm friendly than previous version, but same as previous version racquet head feels hollow. I play with PD GT and new prince white that is coming out so I can not tell the exact difference between the old and new.

Got my hands on the new Bab Aero Pro Drive GT. Strung weight will full poly (Cyberflash 17g) is 11.2oz!! Pretty light feeling stick!! I'm sure it will generate some really sick TOP!!!!!!!!

I hope they don't change the specs too much, I really liked the APDC, but thought it needed more stability, the GT version should have that. :-D
Plus, the paintjob is incredible.

in what way is the Gt supposed to be better? I like the APDC but just can never get used to the plastic feel.

I really enjoyed my APDC. It was hard beating Sup when he played with them.

However, my entire stock broke in one way or another. Crack here. Handle there.

Then my arm started to hurt. Probably cause the racquet lost its flex or who knows why. I just couldn't justify it. I couldnt get a deal on them like other racquets as well.

That all being said. I think the new APDC GT looks good. Hopefully they improved durability.

Somewhere i heard that Yonex and Babolat have the most returns due to crack and breaks. Heard it from a tennis shop owner.

That is all..

i worked in a tennis shop for 5 years, ti be honest, in the uk babolat hardly ever accept a returned racket! i broke on of minem was no mark on it, we sent it back with a cover note from the owner of the shop saying that he knew i didnt smash it and they still tuned me down. wilson and head accept ANYTHING!

The improve of performance in PD with the last technology, GT, has been outstanding.

So, I've very excited with the upcoming APDC GT. I still cannot wait to spring 2010 ...

A shop owner told me he could count on one hand the number of rackets that Babolat has actually replaced over the years. High demand for their products allow them to get away with this policy. I'm not saying that Babolat should replace rackets that have been abused, clearly there are people who try to get an undeserved replacement. But it does seem like Babolat's policy is to simply refuse replacement on almost all claims. So I do think that tennispro19's statement is accurate.
