I saw a Babolat Limited Edition Signature racquet last week in a tennis shop here in town. It looked like a PureDrive, was black with the white stripes, had a copper and silver paint scheme on the upper hoop with a bunch of their players signatures on it. No specs listed. The racquet belonged to the local Babolat rep. Looked cool. No plans to sell them from what I was told.

Hmm, that racquet already exists............called the Aeropro Drive. But yeah, does look a little different around the throat area.

It's definetely a different racquet. The throat is pretty different. I hope they have demos of this soon!

It's not a Paintjob of his old Pure Drive, because the racquet don't have any lead tape at 3 and 9.

Are you guys thick? There is no such thing as a PD II. The Aero Pro Drive replaced it. Roddick's image is with a blue paint scheme, that's why this stick is blue. It is a APD+ with a paintjob to look like his older sticks.

It's not an APD. Look at the throat. The throat is round like in a pure drive. It is not like a pyramid like in the APD. Looks like a new racquet for me...

yes this is right. It si sdefinantly not an aeropro drive, the line of the paint from blue to white gives the apearence of an edge, but it is just an illusion. The frame looks to be a new paitned pure drive, but we obviousl dont know the specs on it. I could just be a 3rd generation paintjob on the pure drive, i wouldnt be surprised.

It is either a new paintjob or the Andy Roddick signature series racket that is supposed to be coming out per his website as I remember someone saying. This racket has been speculated to be a Pure Drive with the balance and weight he uses; however, I would assume that won't be ideal for the typical player.

Awesome!! Whatever it is its awesome! i saw it today up close and personal. To me it didnt look like his PD? Could Roddick be using something new?

That is definately not an Aero series racquet! From what i predict its a new pj for the Pure Drive coz the current pj'z been around for a while and the Pure Drive sells pretty well so if they changed the pj more ppl would also want the new one!

i don't know why everybody thinks that roddick uses the original babolat. The only people that use the original babolat iwth a paintjob are the spaniards, like carlos moya and feliciano. For the people in the U.S you wouldn't know what racket i am talking about since they never sold this model in the U.S
