babolat pure storm tour VS babolat pure storm tour +

OK. I don't want to sound like a COMPLETE idiot, but that's probably going to happen and so I realize I'm opening myself up for a lot of bashing with this post.

I don't know much about Babolat racquets other than I don't quite like how they play. Too much power and not enough feel for me, but a great junior racquet I think. Well the pure drives at least.

So I saw the specs for the new storm tour racquets and seems like an awesome players racquet. Heavier than the aeros and drives, and it seems to have a great flex. I'm drooling thinking about how awesome the touch must be! I'm anxious to take this stick for a demo because this could be the illusive racquet I've been missing out on. But since I have NO REAL knowledge of babolat racquets......
The pure storm tour and pure storm plus are essentially the same
racquet, with only minute difference that would almost be not
noticable, minus the extra half inch. SO what are the advantages and
dis advantages to having an extra half inch without it changing the
characteristics of the racquet itself? (other than the added reach)

Thanks!

or the pure control vs. the pure control plus.

i've never used anything but 27" so i'd like to hear feedback from people who have used both.

the + version will give you a bit more plow through on shots allowing you a better feel of where the head is when you are swinging. you can get easier access to spin and power with the extra length on serves as well. as far as at the net, you will have a bit more feel with the standard version since it will be a little lighter to maneuver around at the net. If you choke up on the + version while at the net then you'll basically have the save feel as the standard version.

i personally use the + version and find it to have all the benefits that i get out of the standard with the added support on serves and on two-handed backhands.

so it's more for personal preferences, the two racquets will play almost alike with a few differences here and there depending on what style suits you more.

With any plus version of a racket I've used, I seem to be able to get more of a "whipping" kind of feeling, like I drag the racket and it flings out to the ball and rips it down the line. This might just be me but it benefits my game.

it is very much down to personal preference, there are the advantages listed above but there is less manouverability and the extra torque can make it harder to control

thanks everyone. i figured as much it would be more personal preference. but how much of the feeling is physical compared to mental, ya know.
