gmslam- You are so lucky you have a ball machine. I really want one, but they are expensive. How much did you get yours for. It is a shock to me that so many ppl pay thousands of dollars for these machines. Well, i guess it is different when you have a job. I am only 14. Any suggestions for me, how to train, something like a ball machine but cheaper. PLease help.

Find a hitting partner who's always willing to play. You could also just hit against a wall. Or you can find someone to feed you balls (parents, siblings, etc.). Ball machines are fun and all, but they get boring after awhile.

zorg,

hmmmmm...btw..do you play starcraft? Your name sounds familiar. Anyway, I got my tennistutor about 9 years ago and paid about $700 back then. Now, for the same model 2, it is about 950.

Ball machines come in handy, specially if you need to work on a particular stroke mechanic, and it is good to hit around if you have no one to hit with.

My ball machine has gotten some very good use over the years, and do not regret getting it. Its built like a tank, and very high quality.

There are some ball machines that are less expensive. Check them out here, http://www.sportstutor.com/

Hey Zorg, i nearly had enough money to buy a ball machine until our computer messed up and i had to buy the new one so i just went and brought this thing called a hit up, (dunno if its available out of Australia) it is a ball atached to elastic on each side which u tie to poles of the court or 2 poles in the back yard and the balll is in mid air for u to hit about $30 AU
