i notice one problem when hitting a sitter ball is that i tend not to move my feet after getting into the ready position. as a result, i often over or understretch or hit the ball a little too in front or behind and then the ball flies where i don't want it to go.

what is the best way you adjust your footwork after the ball bounces and you're already in ready psoition? because for some reason my feet just remains stuck on the court...

maybe try skipping for a while. After spending a few weeks skipping everyday I felt alot lighter on my feet.

You've just got to remember that until the ball has bounced and you've figured out where to hit the ball, you've still got to be on your toes. That should help.

yeah, try not to actually set up so early. especially on clay, get to the area you need to be in, then after the bounce set up completely.
