Best frame out of Wilson's Pro Open series

My old Wilson n.code nPro Open had to be retired just recently.
Now I need to look for the frame that will replace it. I found a place on the net that still sells 2012 ver. of Wilson BLX Pro Open. I think that was the last Pro open frame before the name change. Was it any good?

I learned over the years that the latest frame doesn't necessary means that it is the best, so that is why I am asking which Pro Open frame I should buy/look for next :
  • original n.code
  • KPro Open
  • Wilson BLX Pro Open v1
  • Wilson BLX Pro Open v2 aka 2012 version?
In your opinion out of 4 Pro Open frames mentioned above, which was the best?
Please help..:|

I've tried them all! They're all very similar and the differences below are all slight. I also never had the exact same string setups. I felt they each exhibited the same control.
The N Code was the most muted. Power was in between the K Pro & BLX. Same with sweet spot.
The K Pro was the most crisp. I found it to have slightly less power than the BLX & Ncode. Sweet spot felt a fraction smaller as well. This version felt more like a Pure Drive in terms of feel. A bit hollow but not harsh or jarring.
The BLX (yellow & black) was my favorite because it sat in between both the previous versions. Great feel IMO. Not too muted, not too crisp. Power was just right for me as well. Slightly less pop than the Pure Drive. Played great with a full bed of poly or a hybrid.

I think I love it already.:???: Is the frame you mentioned a BLX PRO OPEN v1?

How is it compared to BLX v.2 "Grey & yellow" that is still available on TW EU ???

Do they play identical???

Do they ever make the later Pro Open frames in a 27.5 ver. a.k.a X like the original n.Pro?

What about the string pattern - did it remain the 16X19 for all of them?

I've played with the black and yellow BLX Pro Open for about four years now and can vouch for it. Exceptional frame with good feel as stated above. More comfort but a bit less power than the pure drive or APD. Great frame for a 3.0-4.0 player. Hybrid setup works best for me with poly mains.

So based on feedback the "majority" preferred the BLX out of the Pro Open frames. I am getting the BLX ver. for sure.:)

But the question still remain: Is the 2012 ( the APD lookalike) Pro Open version identical = just the paint job refresh from Wilson or is it somehow different from the Shinier Black & Yellow BLX v.1?

Very, very nice frame, I still have one. The last two versions are absolutely identical, the difference is only in paint job.

I tried both of the recent BLX Pro Opens. Very nice frames, but I think the demo strings were always crappy when I tried them, so always felt I was not getting the full benefit. Even with that, I thought they were nice frames.

I think it has good power and swings easy to impart spin. Serves were powerful and control was good too. Touch volleys and drop shots were hard to hit for me, but could have been the strings.

I ended up moving to the BLX 6.1 just b/c I liked the easy power the weight of that frame gave me, but I thought long and hard about that choice.
